* Guitar Synthesizer Music * NEIL NAPPE - "July" (1st half) - 1986 Audion CD

Anyone know what synths were used on this?
"The front cover image didn't scan right. It's not supposed to be that "spotty". Although it did scanned the "taped" part right. :-] You might barely make out the "correct" image shown in front of the CD player.

"July" is the only album I know that was done by Neil Nappe. No keyboards used in making music. According to the back of the album, it was done with "Guitar Synthesizer, M.I.D.I. and more M.I.D.I." Released on a short-lived label and not re-issued to this day.

Here's a little quote from him:
"July" was performed entirely on synthesizers of one sort or another (except for a bit of my trusty '74 Les Paul) and recorded in my home on 4-track cassette format.

1: Valley of Indecision
2: The Alternative
3: The Morning Song
4: Pickupstix

Played on my 2003 Fisher SLIM 1400

Audio recorded using the Line In of my Dell Optiplex GX260

Edited with Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9"

Tron Legacy Trailer(Sound Redux)

YouTube via analogmad
"Video Is property of Walt Disney Pictures 2009. Sound Design/Music by Chris Kowalski. HUGE fan of the original movie. Stripped the original audio and redid all of the sound from scratch using Reason/NI Reakto/Ableton Live 8. An M-Audio Axiom 49 was used to perform the Lightcycle Engine Oscillations. I'm sorry for the lack of dialog at the end.. there was no way to cut around it with the score over the top. I hope you enjoy it as much I did recreating the scene. I will post additional videos to show exactly how I created some of the sounds heard in the video. Email: o7thwonder@hotmail.com "

"Do you want an iPhone app to make beats? And produce like totally awesome tracks with a zillion channels and plugins and automation and 808 simulators and stuff yeah? Oh. Well, this is not for you. Mujik is more than a music app - get away from fake sliders and buttons and enter the world of Mujik, with charming graphics, lovely music, and a wonderfully tactile interface. It’s not rocket science, it’s just fun.

Available very soon on the iTunes store!"

MF-104Z Analog Delay Spillover Modification

YouTube via MoogMusicInc
"With this "must-have" modification for the MF-104Z Analog Delay you can bypass the delay without killing existing echoes. Includes a switch for enabling and disabling Spillover Mode.

Imagine playing an echo-filled chorus, then switching back to playing a dry sound for the verse, all while your echoes naturally decay or create infinitely repeating echo soundscapes then solo over them with echo-free."
