Dark Energy In Dronespace 2

YouTube via OculoRapido
"Analog ambient drone track featuring the Doepfer Dark Energy, in its first outing with the mighty Blacet/Metalbox/Wiard/Cynthia modular synth racks. Dark Energy dominates dominates the right channel. Video synthesized by ArtMatic, using the low and medium low frequency content of the audio tracks. Produced by Doktor Bob at Rapid Eye Soundlabs during the great 2009 California Labor Day Staycation Bash. Thanks to Stephen Parsick for motivating the Dark Energy drone test jam. iPhone mix. Copyright 2009 Robert B. Trelease."

Arduino-based clone of the CGS Master Divider

YouTube via machinate
"Okay, this is my little pet project; getting the Arduino to be the clocking centre of my modular synth.
The idea is to have this either as a computer-controlled divider run by your DAW (I plan to port this software fully into MaxForLive when that drops) OR as a standalone unit with set/reset jacks right on the panel.

For the really nerdy nerds out there: I may even do this as an Arduino-Mega setup with the odd subdivisions as well as standard 1-16 sequencing outs... If I do I'll probably do a few panels and sell a couple, if there's interest.
This is just my little proof of concept, but I hope you enjoy!"

A sliding theme

YouTube via attorks

"I wanted to show off with a second hand Doepfer R2M ribbon controller I bought 2 days ago. I hope you excuse me for the odd false note because it is not easy to get the pitch right. I have put some marks with a pencil on the side to have some guidance.

In the beginning you hear the 8-step sequences from the self-built Modular and the Creamware MiniMax ASB (not visible). After that the 3rd sequence is added which drives the Clavia Nord Lead 1 generating a brass-type sound. This is a 12-step sequence but the timing is different as for rows 1 and 2.

The Solina-like strings is produced by the Waldorf Q keyboard. The solo comes from the Synthesizers.com Modular which is driven by the CV1, CV2 and gate outputs from the Doepfer R2M. The CV1 is for the pitch and CV2 (pressure) is for the pulsewidth of the pulse wave. The bass in the last part also comes from the Nord Lead 1."

Roland Juno 6 demo

YouTube via mik300z
"This few minutes only scratches the surface of the wierd and wonderful sounds the inspiring Juno can make. The differences between Juno 6, 60 and 106 are .....Juno 6 has arpeggiator but no patch memory/Juno 60 is much the same synth but has patch memory/ 106 has midi ..but sounds different and not as warm as the older Junos.
This Juno 6 has a kenton midi retrofit, enabling me to assign a midi channel and be in sequencer heaven!"
