Man in a Chicken suit plays "What is Love" on Pianica

Man in a Chicken suit plays "What is Love" on Pianica from Ring Mod on Vimeo.

OK, no synth. Making an exception on this one... It should probably go on Sparkle Train.
"I was in Melbourne for Game Connect Asia Pacific (GCAP) 09, and I found this busker standing outside Flinders Street Station in Melbourne. He was playing the hit 90's track "What Is Love" on bass guitar, Pianica, with the assistance of a loop pedal. What is remarkable (evidently) is that he did the entire thing wearing a chicken suit. The real action in this video starts at around 1:20, when he gets DOWN with the improv action on the Pianica. Enjoy."

Tiptop Audio Z-DSP Delivered

via David.

"Just got my Z-DSP by purchased from Analogue Haven, with the BAT filter ROM. I paused just long enough to take this photo. It is now racked up and so far, it’s great! 24 bit audio DAC/ADC, 2 channel, and user programmable (with programmer from TipTopAudio which is on its way as I type!). Very, very cool module.

A big THANKS to Gur and those who helped make this device possible.

Merry Christmas to me!"

Mach Ångström - New Serge Album by square_wave

You can find it here

"This thirty-plus minute piece is comprised of Serge analog modular synthesizer drones coaxed into sumptuous other-worldliness by spectral layers of ensemble generators, cured in spring reverb baths, and aged inappropriately by delays of the bucket-brigade and magnetic tape categories; augmented by dusty, ethereal guitar motifs. Recorded over two late nights in December 2008."

Roland Alpha Juno 1/2 HS-10 Synthesizer Plus10

via this auction

Anyone remember why these were labeled SynthPlus? My first thought was they were meant to be home keyboard versions like the HS-60 version of the Juno-106, but the SynthPlus 10 does not have built in speakers.

ARP AXXE Model 2313 Analog Synthesizer

via this auction

"This ARP Axxe 2313 synthesizer serves as a perfect lead line, or solo, instrument. It's equipped with a Proportional Pitch Control (PPC),Arp's latest innovation in performance-oriented design. With PPC, you can add expressive coloration to melody lines simply by exerting pressure on position touch sensitive area. PPC permits you to bend pitches sharp and flat, allowing you to simulate guitar string-bending techniques and enhancing the realism of voices like flute, saxophone, brass and other sounds of your own creation. The Axxe is also perfect for creating numerous bass voices, including acoustic, electric, funk and bowed bass, which are especially useful to the keyboardist who plays left hand bass. Though inexpensive, the Axxe uses the same high quality filten and oscillaton used in larger models. These components are world famous for their high stability and reliability under the most demanding circumstances. This one is being sold in Excellent condition and looks really good for its age. The LFO slider is broken off, but still works and is easily accesible with your finger. All the other sliders work correctly and are clean and noise free. There are some scratches in the edges of the black metal enclosure, and the black keys have some scratches on them. The original service manual is included, as is a bunch of supplemental documentation and information on how to use and create patches on this keyboard."
