"Beatfly is a small illuminating blimp for entertainment. Its light and movement can be controlled via various interfaces such as MIDI controller, iPhone multi-touch interface, Flash interface on a web site, computer keyboard, mobile phones and voice, and music. It flies, filling the space with colorful light, producing diverse styles of performance in the air.

Beatfly is based on open source hardware and software technology, and its technical resources themselves including materials, circuit diagram, mechanical diagram, and software programs are also published as open source under the Creative Commons license. Everyone is welcome to explore this technology by themselves. Beatfly is developed by Hideki Yoshimoto and supported by the IPA Exploratory IT Human Resources Project (The Mitoh Youth Program).

"So by chance I happened to have two of my dual wogglebugs in my modular at one time. I was spending some time patching up various odd patches, and came up with this one - but, along the way I noticed that these dual bugs have a pretty long start up time, and wanted to see what it sounded like, and well, it's pretty bizarre. The one on the left starts up a lot faster than the one on the right.

For those interested, there are 3 of the ring outs being heard - and one is going through the MOTM 410 filter. There are also two of the child tone outs also being heard. The rates of each wogglebug is being cv'd by the smooth out of a different bug. No other filters or processing. Because I don't have a fancy mixer, everything is panned hard left and right."

"..a v.c. filter i made a few weeks ago. it's the first one i designed from scratch. as opposed to curtis chips, app note circuits and other people's designs. my first impression is that it's more "fat/big" than "liquid/squelchy" or more "moog/arp" than "roland/yamaha" or more "american" than "japanese". check it oot!"

"June 2510 - I thought it about time that I shot a new video for everybody to possibly get a kick out of or hopefully not, end up running out of your computer room screaming 'Red rum! Red Rum!' or something like that. Lol.
This is me playing around with my noise machine and a few other bits, to give y'all something to look at for a little while. There'll be more coming but since I haven't uploaded anything for quite some time, I thought I should give you something for the mo'. :) I hope you enjoy."

"This little ditty consists of 3 melodies. Each of them are within The Deathlehem Machine, who be - playing himself! :D This is the most complex machine composed composition that I've ever come up with yet. I'm not touching any knobs or switches until the last minute or two. The rest of it is the TDM oscillating away in my interpretation of some dude along with his girlfriend or wife and that person's mother whom both love to talk and talk and ... whilst he tries to get his own word in, edge wise. At the end of the 'conversation', things become a little ... wilder. :D lol. I hope you enjoy."
