UC-1 SEQUENCER for SEQUENTIAL PRO-ONE

via this auction
"Recording in real-time as well as in step mode. 1760 memory locations can be allocated to 10 (non-volatile) individual sequences, 10 transpose sequences and 10 individual sequence chains. Depending on use, 586 to 880 notes can be stored in memory. Transpose- and chaining functions make it possible to compose complete songs of at least 20 minutes long.

The sequencer records Autoglide in single-step as well in real-time mode. Includes a high-resolution clock, freeing the Pro-One's LFO for modulation purposes, but when preferred, it is still possible to use the LFO for clocking.

All sequencing data can be stored and retrieved on tape or any other audio recording system. A 4-character alphanumeric display provides status feedback, including clock frequency, save/load information, etc.

All of the Pro-One's original functions remain. The new sequencer can still be triggered step-by-step with an external clock or audio signal. Two jacks sockets are added for high resolution clock in/out, enabling synchronization of the UC-1 to a drum machine or another UC-1/Pro-One.

The UC-1 provides sync-to-tape facility for multi track recording. Other equipment without tape sync can simultaneously be slaved to the Pro-One.

Through the Pro-One's CV and Trigger outputs it is also possible to use the sequencer for the control of other synthesizers with CV and Trigger in."

BRAND NEW KIT! - No longer available anywhere else. Latest version Rev.3 board and operating system 2.0 Approved and recommended by Sequential Circuits."

Roland Vintage Gear Manuals & More

via http://rvgm.site90.net/

"Despite the page title there are ARP, BOSS, Korg, Moog and Yamaha manuals as well, but they're for 70's and 80's gear only...

Some people try to sell this stuff but I want them to be free for all...

This is my personal collection that I hunted down on the web. They're all in pdf format."

Machinedrum UW CTR-AL tweak demo "Control" (Siesta Submarina)

YouTube via TrondC | July 22, 2010

"Pattern jam around the allmighty and highly experiment-friendly CTR-AL Machine in the Machinedrum UW. Shortly put, this feature lets me use one of the MD's 16 tracks and control all parameters of all the other 15 tracks at once! SO, say I change the pitch in the CTR-AL machine, the effect is like I was turning 15 pitch knobs (1 for each other machine) at once, in perfect sync. Now, this machine works by controlling the coresponding parameter for each machine. meaning that since different machines have different parameters placed at the same relative spot (say, control knob #2 can be Decay for bassdrum, but Tone for a clap sound etc), this means that you get instand sonic mayhem at the tunr of a knob. In order to make this sound good instead of chaotic, is to learn what parameters are in use. I'm nowhere near knowing everything the way I want, but I know enough about the different sounds in the machinedrum so I have a certain clue what is going to happen. I'll try and explain here, but really too much going on for me to remember, so don't expect to be able to re-create this on your MD ;)"

Synthesizers.com SSL digital delay module

YouTube via MrRitchieDrums | September 20, 2010

"This latest addition to my modular is a Very Cool Delay!! More info at www.steamsynth.com. There are 3 parts to this video:
1) Basic bass line MIDI sequence via MOTM-650 (DOTcom VCO, filter, envelope & VCA + Mattson LFO & Envelope)
It starts dry. When the digital delay first comes in it almost has more of a a reverb vibe, not harsh. Then adding the LFO to the CV input takes us to a whole other Planet!!
2) This is a counter-line to go with the bassline. (Same modules are used, but now with the HP out of the filter)
3) This is a drum part recorded on 4 tracks (KICK=DOTcom VCO, Filter, Env+VCA - SNR= DOTcom VCO, ENV, Noise, VCA+MOTM-1485 GX-1 Diode Filter(the TOM is the same patch, but with the MOTM ladder VCF instead....CYM= MATTSON VCF)....The Kick & TOM were recorded to seperate tracks & the delay module was used as reverb. The SNR & CYM were recorded to one track & the CV-Delay is applied only to that track.......
I really like the character this module adds to these analog drums!!"
