"This is essentially a CS40m without the Ring Modulator, The PWM Function routing and 8 less keys. For those who are wondering... the "M" series CS synths do NOT sound like the standard CS's like the 10,15,30 etc. The m's sound more like a Moog than any other. Smoother and to me, sits better in a mix.
These 20m's are amazing for creating some unique sounds. Basses and leads for sure, but the modulation routing is very deep, Every VCO, the Filter and the EG has it's own modulation type selector and amount. so you can essentially have a Sine wave, a saw wave, a S/H and a Tri wave going at the same time!!!! All clocked to the internal LFO Speed!"

"This is the wooden sides version of the Phaser...
Ultimative analogue phaser! The KRP-1 is a 100% true discrete analogue phaser with photo-couplers which design is based on the legendary "Compact Phasing A" from Gerd Schulte Audio Electronik. This was used in the 70s & 80s by many famous people like Klaus Schulze, Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream on their records.
The very special sound of the original phaser, which was lovingly named "Krautrock Phaser" or "Schulze Phaser, is unforgettable until today and very sought-after amongst vintage fans. The first run of the KRP-1 was made in 1999 where we presented it at the NAMM Show in Los Angeles. Since then it has been redesigned and improved to reach the demands to create an authentic vintage sound of the 70s. Some new ideas to improve the features have been implemented, so this is not only a sound-wise 1:1 copy of the original, but even has many more practical features and modifikations. The KRP-1 generates from one mono audiosignal very unique stereo effects where the amplitude can be controlled optionally by using two externes CV-pedals. There are four effect parameters with big knobs: Phasing, Oscillator Period, Feedback and Modulation. By using the heavy-duty bypass push button you can switch the effect on and off. The road-ready metal chassis and vintage style knobs generate a classic vintage feeling and there are even optional wooden side panels. All connections are on the rear plate by using 6.3mm jacks. The power supply is external and supplied with the machine.

"Loops were done using my gear, but mainly the tr909 sp1200 and linn drum processed with the dp4+, mutator and compressed with my new api 2500, Overstayer VCA and the Focusrite compounder for the kicks.

Then all loops were sliced and arranged into patterns into the octatrack.

Just like in my video : "Octatrack as a live remix tool : Braxe & Falke Intro" I have re-recorded some already famous samples (such as the loops from Jo Bisso : The mistery with me)and remake tracks around them

Recording signal path is :
octatrack to xone vf1 (HPF lightly used in the beginning)
vf1 to overstayer VCA (around 4 db of GR signal 70% wet)
OS to mr816
mr816 to motu 828 via ADAT (I will soon sell the 828 BTW)

My camera don't record more than 8 min that is why I had to add some old school skateboarding video extracts at the end :)"
