JUSTFX - Electronic track made using effects pedals

Uploaded by Poppaneedsanap on Dec 1, 2011

"Everything is modulating everything. A quick track using nothing but a few effects pedals. Well... I used TL Space for the reverb and also some panning.

For those that might give a shit:
The low pass freq. is being modulated by the square LFO output of the CPU-521. The triangle output gets bent by the slew limiter and modulates delay time on the MF014Z and the Frequency of the carrier on the MF102 ring mod. The delay is mixed 100% wet so you get the non-delayed beating of the low-pass and the delayed signal from the ring mod.
White noise from the CPU is fed into the loop of the delay."

Korg Lambda Presets and combos

YouTube Uploaded by kennykeyboard on Apr 1, 2012

"Showing some preset tabs and knobs of Korg Lambda. Instrument has two sections Percussive and Ensemble with separate volume and tone color. There is a key click for the electric piano and a brass voice filter cutoff. Brass does has a filter envelope. While the Lambda isn't up to the PS series of synths it does use 3 master oscillators and a chorus circuit. With some ingenuity fuller sounds can be created beyond the thin pulse waves of the dividers. Although an Oberheim SEM is shown, it isn't routed in this video. Also, the wind affects the audio at times."

Korg Lambda with SEM filter

Uploaded by kennykeyboard on Apr 1, 2012

"Korg Lambda ES-50 is routed through Tom Oberheim SEM. Using the SEM's lfo and manual knob turns variety is acheived. The wind messed up some of the audio. Birds chirping was a plus. The outdoors may have added naural reverb. Last section of video has camcorder pointed at moon while I play mood music with same keyboard and module."

Flight of Harmony Choices Demo

YouTube Uploaded by DJjondent on Apr 2, 2012

"This is a quick demo video mainly on the Flight of Harmony "choices" Eurorack module. Sequenced using Modcan's Touch sequencer. Sounds from the Atomosynth's Koe.

The Flight of Harmony "choices" is a joystick that you use to influence (amplify, attenuate, etc) incoming CV signals that you can then send to other modules.

It has separate gate & trigger outputs,2 cv inputs and 2 corresponding CV outputs.

In the first part of the video I don't use any external cv. Just triggering the Atomosynth using the choices trigger buttons and its internal DC source. The horizontal axis (left-right) of joystick controls pitch of Koe. The vertical axis (up-down) of joystick controls the VCA (thus volume) of Koe. Or you could use it to control any other voltage controlled module .. eg filter, whatever u like.

When a external cv plug is inserted, the unit automatically switches from its internal DC source to the input signal.Don't forget to disconnect the gate from the choices module when doing this.(unless you want to manually gate/trigger).

Many thanks to Matt from Rhythm Active for supplying the Modcan Sequencer, The Atomosynth Koe. and of course the Flight of Harmony "choices" Eurorack module.

Using Moog Animoog w/ Ableton Live - iPad / iOS Sound Design Tutorial Pt 3

Uploaded by DubSpot on Apr 2, 2012

"More info - http://bit.ly/HPrHQ6
In the third and final installment of our video tutorial series on Moog's Animoog iPad app, Dubspot Instructor Matt Cellitti offers sound design and production tips and tricks and shows you how to use Animoog in a Digital Audio Workstation.

The final installment of the Animoog tutorials will hopefully give you a few more tricks on how to create some really cool sounds in this great app. Once you have created an interesting sound with a unique path, I will show you how to "stretch" the orbit across your path to create thick sounds, triggering multiple timbres at once for radically transforming sounds. Moving the path around the X/Y axis will allow you to essentially create several different presets inside of one saved sound. I might start with a slow pad if I begin in the top left corner, yet morph to a sharp lead sound by pulling the path down to the bottom of the Y axis.

Lastly, it is important to realize that the signal coming out of the iPad/iPhone headphone jack comes in at a lower volume level than we would like. Simply use some effects inside of a DAW or other host program to boost the signal and create more interesting effect chains for Animoog. Set up an effect chain just once and save it for instant recall when you need it again. Works great in both Live and Maschine. - Matt Cellitti"
