Custom Black on Black Nebulae
via @Synth_City
"Check out this custom black on black Nebulae that @qubitelectronix put together for one of our clients. Gothulae!"
It appears to be just the knobs, but it does make quite the difference from the original white.

Thought this was pretty cool. Instead of the typical EKG jagged lines, you have a pulse clock.
See CustomSynth's other listings for other synth Ts & more.

The Photolin - Light Sensitive Electronic Musical Instrument in the Shape of a Violin
Thesis Performance - Photolin Published on May 13, 2015 Brendan Byrne
Photoresistor Violin + Max Patch
via Brendan Byrne where you'll find an additional video:
"Photolin is a light sensitive electronic musical instrument based on the form and mechanical functionality of a violin. The most distinctive feature of the instrument is its programmable LED bow. The body of the Photolin contains two photoresistors which detect the light emitting from the bow and translate this information to determine the output volume. On the fretboard, a ribbon sensor detects the player's position to determine the pitch of the note produced.
An accompanying Max patch allows the player to calibrate the instrument's light and ribbon sensors as well as determine the pattern produced by the bow. Current patterns include all, gradient, random, and variable speed pulse modes for the player to experiment with. The sonic output is composed of a mono risset oscillator and heavy delay."

Animodule System patch "Sand Cricket"
Published on May 13, 2015 SGE
"I wanted to put together a house/techno patch. All sounds from the box, recorded live. Effects are a Roland RE-20 and Eventide Space. The kick is a SOB filter in self oscillation, the snare is a square wave from a LMVCO being FM'd by noise, going into the Space pedal which gives it that 'sucking' sound."
