µMIDI – An easy to use USB and DIN MIDI interface with clock sync and voice control outputs. Built with an ARM core for tight timing and easy firmware updates.
Dixie II+ – An expanded Dixie II with 8-position octave switch, suboctave out, a special new hard sync, and more control over FM and PWM.
Polaris – A versatile voltage controlled filter / phaser with 27 filter modes and asymmetric distortion.

"The µMIDI provides all the essentials to control and sync your Eurorack modular from your computer, iPhone/iPad, or hardware MIDI device with a minimum of fuss. No menu diving or configuration scripts, just two buttons. The connectivity, feature set, and compact size make the µMIDI ideal for integrating your modular with the rest of your rig while not taking up too much space in your case.

The upper clock section features a dedicated 16th note clock output ideal for synchronizing a Eurorack sequencer like the Metropolis. A second clock output with selectable divisions can be used when difference sync events are needed. The run and reset outputs can be used to reset your Eurorack sequencers in tandem with any external sequencer or DAW.

The lower half of the µMIDI gives you everything you need to control a single voice synth via MIDI. Just connect either a USB or DIN MIDI cable to the module, LEARN a channel, and start playing.

Future firmware updates over USB are made easy with the Firmware Updater software.

"Dixie II+
Full-featured triangle core VCO/LFO
The Dixie II+ is a larger variant of the classic Dixie II. Using the same great triangle core oscillator, it adds a number of features to make it even more versatile with only a modest increase in size. The Dixie II+ makes a great primary oscillator for a modular system, or a great companion the Rubicon.

8-position octave switch for quick setting of course tuning.
Fine tuning knob that turns to a coarse knob when in LFO mode.
Dual FM inputs, with FM1 attenuator and switch to select between exponential and linear mode.
Pulse width control with attenuator.
Reset to 0 V hard sync input, ideal for percussive sounds or modulation.
Flip sync circuit similar to but improved from the Dixie II.
6 waveform outputs: sine, triangle, zigzag, saw, pulse and suboctave."

"Polaris
Versatile Multimode VCF + Phaser
The Polaris is a 4-stage cascaded OTA filter designed by David Dixon. It’s built on the lineage of the Dr. Octature and Atlantis filters, but with a totally revised core and resonance control. Along with dedicated LP, HP and BP it outputs it features a configurable MULTI output capable of an unprecedented 27 different filter modes.

With drive turned down the Polaris is capable of buttery smooth filtering, and the cutoff control range has been fine tuned for playability. Turn up the drive and engage the multi distort asymmetric distortion circuit for a more aggressive sound. Not content to be just a filter, the Polaris’s AP phaser mode combined with frequency modulation can be used to achieve a phaser effect.

With so much versatility in a modest size, the Polaris is an ideal filter for a starter system and an excellent addition to the tonal palette of a larger modular.

No word if this is a one of synth. The details follow. It built by a Jim Smiley. This is the first post to feature him on MATRIXSYNTH, so not only do we have a new synth, but we also have a new maker on the site.

"Cosmetically:

Never gigged, always stayed in pet/smoke free Home Studio, so it is in very good condition, please see pictures. I have attached a lot of pictures to see exactly how it looks.

Technically:

It has recently been completely overhauled by a professional synth engineer and it is in perfect working order:

power supply (220V) electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with the best quality ones
wood sides have been refurbished to look like new
new battery 3.2V has been installed
ROM has been upgraded to the latest version 12 (fixes various midi bugs and keeps settings)
internal boards, sliders and keyboard contacts have been thoroughly cleaned
the instrument has been tuned
factory presets have been restored
With the above heavy and expensive restoration work, the instrument operates with even better and long lasting quality components, making this Six-Trak one of the best you can ever find on eBay."

"For sale is the Kawai SX-240, a classic, very rare and unique sounding dual DCO multi-waveform Analog Synthesizer (made in 1984) with SAW, SQUARE, PULSE (2nd LFO), BRASS (Ring Modulation) waveform, 8-voices of polyphony, an additional SUB Oscillator, Poly8/4/mono modes, a super-warm, lush, on-board chorus/ensemble effect, 8-SSM 2044 filters (used on Korg Mono/poly, Korg Trident, Korg Polysix, Kawai SX-210, Kawai K3 etc), a general LFO that can be routed everywhere in the DCO, VCF and the VCA, MIDI In/Out/Through, Portamento, Glissando, a 8-digits LED screen for editing the parameters and the option of being placed in Split or Dual patch modes. In Split mode you can assign two patches to be played in a split on the keyboard. In Dual mode two patches can be played at the same time for a rich, warm and layered sound, not very common in Analog Synthesizers. It has also a built-in, real time 1,500 note sequencer and chord memory.

Kawai SX-240 has a great rich, lush and unique analog sound to it that can't be reproduced by today's modern synthesizers.

"Ritm-2 in exceptional condition (collectors item) + original upper lid + cables included!
RItm-2 is a moog prodigy/micromoog kind of a clone but with soviet components which makes it sound more fluttery and overdriven which results in a more "fatter" sound.

Note: Ritm-2 operates under 220 volts, you would need a voltage transformer if you operate under 110 volts (can be bought at any local electric shop)"
