"This is the Rev 4 version, which is the one you want if you're looking for the classic 'Jupiter' sound as it shares the same chip set as the other Jupiter synths, whereas the Rev 5 has the same chip set as the later Roland JX series. Included in the listing is the Roland MKS-80 Super Jupiter Rev. 4, M-64C Memory Cartridge, and power cable."
via wikipedia: "In 1985 out came another revision of MKS-80, known as 'Rev 5', that had no ties with any previous Jupiter's hardware, as it used a new generation of both Roland VCO's, VCA's and filter. The Rev 5 filter was also used in JX-8P, JX-10 and MKS-70 synthesizers."

"Here's an awesome Akai AX80, in fully functional condition and sounds amazing. All key contacts were cleaned as well as the battery replaced within the past year. It's a pleasure to play with a great feeling keybed and offers many usable sounds. The worst part about it are the blemished end caps which look much worse in the pictures accented by the flash. These could be restored or covered by someone if they have the urge, I never really cared since it looks great in the studio and is a sonically amazing!"

"Minimoog Model D Vintage Analog Synthesizer old osc very early RA moog boards
Great condition. Very clean. Recent restoration. All original except for the keybushings that have been replaced during service. Early old osc minimoog model d with RA MOOG boards inside. September of 1972 production, 1xxx serial. Sounds fantastic! Cosmetically, this item is very nice for such an old synthesizer. The walnut case is in good shape. It's got some normal wear for an early minimoog model D but overall is in great shape. This minimoog has a vintage roadcase paired with it. The case is in good functional condition and has had the interior foam replaced. It show wear from use and has vintage stickers on the outside..."

Programming State Variable Filter Behavior on the Oberheim Matrix-12 and Xpander

This is NOT a step-by-step tutorial. This DOES show how I set up a couple of patches to get STATE VARIABLE filter behavior on FIXED filter synthesizers like the Oberheim Matrix-12 and Xpander. To be clear, I leave out all the programming steps where I save and rename the patches as you must.
This method works on most any programmable, multi-timbral, polysynth where different filter modes are configurable. The downside to this method is the overall polyphony will be cut in half. On the Xpander this means 3 voices. But hey, on the SEM it uses only one voice.
0:10 Intro, what is a State Variable Filter
0:55 How the State Variable filter works
1:22 My settings for two Single patches
1:58 My setings for the Multi patch
3:12 So you want to sweep the filter cutoff, too....don't you?
Some modern synthesizers allow you to do this within one patch, but they MUST have TWO configurable filters PER PATCH. Waldorf Blofeld, Novation Ultranova, Elektron Analog 4 and Analog Keys, Dave Smith Prophet-12, Access Virus and TI Snow, and more."

Korg DW8000 and Novation Zero SLMkII
Published on Feb 5, 2016 Sergio Brunetti
"The Korg DW-8000 is a powerful synth. It is hard to program as almost every synth of its era due to just a parameter assignable at once. To solve this problem, I have programmed almost all the parameters of the Korg DW-8000 in the Novation Zero SLMkII. In this way I have direct access to all the parameters and I can change the values of more than a parameter at once. I can create sounds and tones that I hardly could create using just the Korg control panel. The video shows the Novation displaying the names I have assigned to each parameter. In this way I can easily find the sliders, buttons, encoders and pots to be used for every single DW-8000 parameter. The tones are just an example to show how it works and not how it can sound. For details on the Korg DW-8000 parameter list you can see a manual on line. The hand written labels on the Novation are for using in Sibelius Notation Software and are not relative to the Korg synth."
