Modulated sine wave 30082016 // Doepfer A108, A-118 & Zoom MS-70CDR

Published on Aug 31, 2016 Computing.Sound

So good. Would make for a great soundtrack.

"Basic three module modular synthesizer patch plus effects.

- Doepfer A-108 VCF8 (self-resonating filter)used as a sine wave generator

- Doepfer A-118 Noise + Random Voltage used for modulating the A-108's frequency

- Doepfer A-135-1 QVCA/VCMIX just used for basic attenuation

- Zoom MS-70CDR provides the effects

On the pedal I chose the PitchDelay and SpaceHole algorithms.

Thanks for watching!"

Radikal Technologies RT-311 Scale Experiments

"I am using the following modules for this example:
RT-311 Swarm Oscillator
RT-451 Dual Multimode Filter
A-147 VCLFO
The soundcraft signature MTK22 mixing desk internal FXs tape delay and room reverb.

The pitch input of the oscillator has a scale quantizer. The Scale Quantizer allows for converting a continuous control voltage into a music scale"

ENSONIQ SQ-80 Synthesizer 1987 | HD DEMO | NEW PATCHES

You can buy these patches for your SQ-80 - read the description for further details (scroll down).

Synthesizer demo of the ENSONIQ SQ-80 from 1987.
The intro sequence was produced with the sequencer of the SQ-80 playing sounds from the AnalogAudio1 patch bank. In this movie I play my own sounds - on some sounds I used a small amount of reverb from a Dynacord DRP 20 or/and a Korg SDD-3000 for delay effects (but no other effects like compression or chorus).

The ENSONIQ SQ-80 is an upgraded, enhanced version of the popular ESQ-1 from 1986. You could say, it's a "turbo version". It has more waveforms, a floppy disc drive, more sequencer memory, a phones jack, a lighter casing and other improvements. It still has the same great analog lowpass filters, which sound great when overdriven (like heard in the video). The SQ-80 is a flexible synth. It has 3 oscillators, 4 envelopes, 4 DCAs and 3 LFO's per voice. OSC sync and amplitude modulation possible - like on analog synthesizers. It has a velocity sensitive keyboard and polyphonic aftertouch. Built in pattern sequencer (similar to the one in the Akai MPCs).
