"Vintage 80's Oberheim Matrix 6 Synthesizer. Upgraded Firmware EPROM version v2.13. Excellent Condition fully functional unit. Includes original Owners Manual, original Foot Pedal & AC power-cord. Sounds great and makes it fun creating original sounds. The Matrix 6 is based upon the same revolutionary technology as the Oberheim XPANDER and MATRIX-12. Utilizes Digitally Controlled Oscillators providing tuning stability while emulating a rich analog syn sound. A wide-range, 4-pole low-pass filter, three 5-stage envelope generators, 2 independent LFO's, and Matrix Modulation System give you all the basics to precisely articulate the sound of each patch."

Korg Volca FM Synth Demo Jam

Published on Nov 22, 2017 Boredbrain Music

"Here's a techno jam from Boredbrain featuring the Korg Volca FM digital synthesizer and Roland TR-606 vintage analog drum machine. Effects used are Moog Minifooger MF-Delay and Korg Monotron Delay. The Volca is tempo synced to the 606 via the tom trigger output.

The jam starts with a chain of sequences using a bell-type tone getting slightly modulated with the Velocity slider and LFO for vibrato. The middle section is a chain of sequences using a classic FM bass sound and Arpeggiator. The Velocity slider and Carrier Decay are getting tweaked heavily creating a wide range of tones.

Recorded live outside on location on a cold night overlooking downtown Richmond VA from Church Hill."

Spectral Arpeggiator: PC - MidiBox CV - Matrix Analog Synth

Published on Nov 22, 2017 Sbranvlztronics

"Simple patch presenting a 'Spectral Arpeggiator'.

In this video a PC running a MIDI sequencer sends data to a MidiBox CV converter, which then controls the Matrix synthesizer patch.

The master Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) determines the fundamental frequency, and the synced slave VCO is sweept for harmonics using very short notes. The slave VCO triangle output is sent to the Voltage Controlled Phaser, VCA and finnaly to the Voltage Controlled Delay. The wet/dry mix of the CV Delay is controled by midi velocity, CV Phaser cutoff freq. by a local LFO. Tweaking the ADSR potentiometers create some nice variation in the textures.

Hope you enjoy, thanks for watching.

SunVox 1.9.3 Update

iTunes: SunVox - Alexander Zolotov & Google Play

What's New in Version 1.9.3
* Audiobus 3 support (with MIDI);
* sound engine optimization;
* MIDI IN options has beed added to the Module Properties: here you can change the MIDI IN channel and the mode (receive MIDI commands "when the module selected" or "always");
* the biggest Sampler update since 2008;
* Sampler: click removal algorithm (between two notes on the same channel, or during the sharp note cutoff);
* Sampler: added four new envelopes to control the effect (with polyphony support), which is one of the built-in SunVox modules; so you can choose almost any SunVox module (for example, Filter or MetaModule), and it will be stored inside the Sampler;
* Sampler: new option "Ignore velocity for volume";
* Sampler (sample editor): new loop parameter - Sustain; when enabled, loop will be finished after the Note OFF;
* Sampler (sample editor): deeper zoom;
* Sampler (sample editor): Crossfade Loop effect has been added into the menu;
* Sampler (envelope editor): unlimited envelope length, unlimited number of envelope points;
* Sampler (envelope editor): point info display has been added; press it to show/hide the additional buttons for precise point control;
* Sampler (envelope editor): new envelope parameters: Gain, Velocity influence;
* Sampler (envelope editor): new envelopes: Pitch, Effect Controller;
* MetaModule: new option "Event output"; when enabled, the MetaModule can output events (Note ON/OFF, Set Pitch, etc.) from the internal Output module; see the examples metamodule_arpeggiator3/4;
* MetaModule: effect 07 (set sample offset by percentage) is now supported too; you can use it to jump to the specified location within the MetaModule-project;
* MetaModule: new mode "play without repeat" has been added to the "Play patterns" controller;
* Filter, Filter Pro, Flanger, LFO, Vibrato: current LFO phase is visible now (on the "Set phase" controller);
* Filter, Filter Pro, Flanger, LFO, Vibrato: the incoming notes (Note ON commands) reset the LFO phase to "Set phase" value;
* MultiSynth: new option "Trigger" (ignore Note OFF commands; the new note turns off the old note with the same pitch);
* MultiSynth: new controller "Curve2 influence" (mix between the linear (default) and the user-drawn curve2);
* Reverb: new controller "Random seed";
* LFO: new controller "Generator" (always generate a signal, even if the input is empty);
* LFO: triangle waveform;
* Pattern Editor: new function "Place evenly" (place events evenly in the selected area);
* new project parameter - "Time grid2" (the higher-level grid, number of time grid cells);
* lists of the recent files and folders have been added to the file browser; you can disable it in the Preferences -> Interface;
* "Resize" button has been added to the musical keyboard in the file browser (when the Preview is enabled);
* Preferences -> Main: new button "Log" (show/save SunVox log);
* Preferences -> Interface: new option "Zoom buttons" (hide/show zoom in/out buttons);
* Preferences -> Interface -> Color theme: ability to manually adjust the four primary colors;
* new instruments and effects (see the folders instruments and effects);
* new examples: NightRadio - Reach for the Stars, Transient - Can It Be Beautiful;
* new simple examples: sampler effect envelopes, metamodule_arpeggiator3, metamodule_arpeggiator4;
* bug fixes.

Wave Terrain Synthesizer by Aaron Anderson

Published on Nov 21, 2017 Aaron Anderson

"Wave Terrain Synthesizer built using openFrameworks and ofxATK.

This is controlled via MIDI. MIDI input is selected at the bottom right. All sliders are controllable via MIDI, with the addition of the pitch wheel and pedal. I will provide Documentation asap.

And a video from last year:

Published on Aug 28, 2016

"My first presentable version of a wave terrain synthesizer. The concept of a wave table is extended to another dimension. The table is read at position XY, returning the depth of the terrain.

In this version, the table is read with various lissajous figures (and with two-dimensional perlin noise near the end). The terrains are generated with various equations including chebyshev polynomials. Terrain A can be interpolated with terrain B.

The terrain readers are in harmonic series. Further development will include more interesting approaches for the behavior of terrain reading. Dynamic terrain modulation will also be explored.

"Derezzed" Daft Punk - gattobus cover w/ Roland TR-08 / SE-02 / TB-03 / Scooper

Published on Nov 22, 2017 gattobus

"Some time's passed since I covered a Daft punk track. I had the idea while playing with SE-02 built-in sequencer and suddenly the song came by itself!
Everything is played in real time! No overdubs.
I made some variations compared to the original song, I hope you like it.
Recorded, mixed and mastered in Ableton Live 9."

Arjen Schat | Sequential Session: 20171122

"New album "Spectrum" out now: http://tresordargent.com/td-01/.
After a 18-month hiatus, a brand new Sequential Session with the Koma Komplex Sequencer + 2x Moog Mother-32 and Doepfer Dark Time + Energy, accompanied by the Moog Animoog on an iPad Pro.

There is a timing issue with Koma's sequencer C after the 1:17 mark caused by its voltage clock. Also, the first couple of notes I play are not timed well. Other than that, enjoy!"
