Canon 50D Magic Lantern - Winter Synth Composition

"A excerpt from a composition demonstrating sounds from the reFX Nexus 2 VST and the the TAL-U-NO LX VST (Juno 60 emulator). Using Ableton Live and the Alesis Q61 keyboard.

The video was shot on a Canon 50D with Magic Lantern Raw, filming in London during the wintry day of 27th February 2018.

Mostly shot in 5x zoom crop mode, 14 bit raw at 1920x1080 resolution. Some shots use full sensor mode (1568x882 resolution).

I used a Canon 17-55mm f2.8 lens, which unfortunately has a broken aperture but is still usable."

O-Coast is patched to route both audio and CV to the MS-20M, creating a shifting filtered sound where the different oscillators can be blended into a dense fuzz.

When syncing the internal sequencer to MIDI clock, timing is not as tight so the purchaser should plan on using it as a velocity-sensitive MIDI triggered sound source or DIN-synched unit. Samples, VST instruments, clones, etc. cannot touch the sound of the real thing."
