"I recorded a nice synth bed the other night into a looper pedal in hopes to use it later... today I had fun with it."

VOID ADSR

My ADSR Published on Jul 21, 2018 Sean Pendleton

"More test driving of the ADSR I made. The outputs on the left are normal, attenuverted, and a mix of the two ADSRs attenuverted outputs. There is a switch to turn an incoming gate signal into a trigger if you want your envelope extra snappy. That's also my mixer with mutes next to it and on the top right my 'Brutalist' filter."

This is my musical portrait of Ecclesiastes 1:2-11.

2“Vanity of vanities,” says the Preacher, “Vanity of vanities! All is vanity.” 3What advantage does man have in all his work Which he does under the sun? 4A generation goes and a generation comes, But the earth remains forever. 5Also, the sun rises and the sun sets; And hastening to its place it rises there again. 6Blowing toward the south, Then turning toward the north, The wind continues swirling along; And on its circular courses the wind returns. 7All the rivers flow into the sea, Yet the sea is not full. To the place where the rivers flow, There they flow again. 8All things are wearisome; Man is not able to tell it. The eye is not satisfied with seeing, Nor is the ear filled with hearing. 9That which has been is that which will be, And that which has been done is that which will be done. So there is nothing new under the sun. 10Is there anything of which one might say, “See this, it is new”? Already it has existed for ages Which were before us. 11There is no remembrance of earlier things; And also of the later things which will occur, There will be for them no remembrance Among those who will come later still.

"My EMS Synthi AKS giving me backtalk again!"

Supreme Sonic Systems TS-4 (Indian Electronic Tamboura)

This one is in via Scott Laraway:

"I wanted to share with you my most recent synth acquisition - Supreme Sonic Systems TS-4 (Indian electronic tamboura).

I also have a saarang/radel DZ soft Indian synthesizer/electronic tamboura and I’ve noticed there is a dearth of info on these peculiar and delightful instruments. In fact the only info I’ve ever discovered relating to them was on matrixsynth, hence my contacting you.

Anyways this synth is very similar in sound, design and operation to those analog radel E tambouras. As usual these synths hardly offer realistic emulations of the actual instruments but instead offer delightful analog timbres with controls and design that provide rudimentary Hindustani accompaniment. Of primary interest is the accompanying pamphlet/manual, which offers arguably the most info on these instruments I’ve ever come across. It was this pamphlet that I thought would be of most use to matrixsynth followers. Also of note is that this isn’t made by radel! I’ve never seen or read anything about supreme sonic systems but I will be googling it after I finish playing with my lovely new instrument."

I asked Scott when he thinks these were produced and he believes they are from the 80s.

"This listing is for a rare & vintage Synclavier PSMT Synthesizer keyboard workstation. The workstation includes everything photographed. There are multiple different units and 7 tubs full of different cords. All of the items photographed were kept together, so I assumed it all belongs to this unit, but I am not 100% sure.

***This unit is being sold untested in as is condition without returns. I have no idea how to even begin setting it up to test its functionality. It came from a storage estate that had a wide variety of musical recording equipment.***

Due to how much comes with this unit, this listing is for local pick up only. The item is located in Orange County, California. If an out-of-state buyer is interested, the shipping must be arranged and paid for by the buyer."

Deckards Dream Polyphonic Analog Synthesizer Keyboard # 676

"Beautiful rev 2 Deckards Dream. It’s from the latest run that just shipped so it’s crispy new and is much slimmer than the last run. The synth is in perfect working order and sounds amazing.

This unit has the latest firmware 1.2.5 and has been loaded with Paul Schillings awesome presets. Bank 1 is very convincing CS80 Blade Runner Presets and Bank 2 has been loaded with his weirder polysynth presets. These presets sound incredible and have made it more difficult to get rid of this thing but I need the cash unfortunately.

It will come shipped in it’s original box with the power supply as well as an additional box with plenty of protection. I’ll ship worldwide as well, let me know if you have any questions."
