O-Coast & VCV Rack - Krell Patch

"So this is my take on the Krell patch from the O-Coast manual. I find the story behind it so interesting, and it sounds so cool, I could listen to this for hours...
Actually, there is not so much going on. The O-Coast is the only voice, and I'm sending it to VCV Rack for some good old reverb from Plateau (Valley). I did add some patching of my own to this, like sending the square wave to the balance, and modulating the balance with the extra LFO."

"It suffered from the battery leakage problem. I opened it up in 2017 and replaced the KLM367A board with one from Synthronics (web:syntronics.de).

Basic MIDI capability was added back when it was in use via the MIDITEC MK-6 board. This added MIDI but sacrificed the arpeggiator and chord hold functions. You can remove the MIDI functionality and reclaim the arpeggiator and chord hold if desired (instructions included).

It is a fully functioning PolySix, the case is in good shape."

"Just built this little division 6 synthesizer from a kit. Has C.V. and gate inputs did not work well with the Korg SQ 1 as yet, still debugging. Most the sound features seem to be working has dual lfo's and strange cross modulation of pitch and VCA basic filter no rez and A R envelope"

Volca FM on the beach - Minimal Electronic Music Outdoors (Korg VolcaFM)

"Korg Volca FM - very minimal composition/performance/recording using one patch created by me, recorded on a very cold and windy Norfolk beach. No sequencer, just a simple sequence of notes played manually on the tiny keyboard. This is a slightly shorter (and rougher) version of a track I'll be adding to Bandcamp soon. I quite like FM synths for clangorous, bell-like sounds, although they're not so intuitive to program. This sound was created using the free Dexed VST, then imported manually (copying the parameters) because it wouldn't import correctly via Midi/Sysex.

Recorded into AUM on an iPhone using EOS2 reverb (a great quality FX app, which makes a huge difference to the sound). Filmed using a LUMIX GH4, GoPro Hero5 Session and iPhone SE.
