Empress Reverb Eurorack Conversion by Million Machine March

via Million Machine March where you'll find addition details.

"All circuitry is custom to each conversion and calibrated accordingly. There can be differences between pedals I find. Very unusual for a digital pedal. Conversions can be like that. Each one is unique and satisfying in its own way."

Beautiful conversion.

It's springtime and nature is blooming, growing and moving. So with that in mind we explore the sonic nature of the Moog Grandmother!

The Moog Grandmother is inspired by classic Moog modular synthesizers, harkening back to the discovery and experimentation of Moog's modular roots. Grandmother features a completely analog sound engine, modulation engine, and onboard spring reverb tank, along with an easy-to-use arpeggiator and sequencer. While capable of highly complex sounds and modulation via creative patching and exploration, Grandmother's semi-modular design requires no patching to function. Grandmother also makes an ideal analog audio processor for external sound sources and a powerful keyboard front end for another semi-modular synth or eurorack modular system.

Get more for your money with an exclusive Moog Grandmother synthesizer bundle from Kraft Music. These package deals include the accessories you'll need to get the most out of your new synth, all for one low price. If you have any questions, please give us a call. Squarp Hermod Sequencing Manther Growl & Drums

Published on Jun 12, 2019 Perfect Circuit

"Squarp's Hermod is a powerful option for sequencing your eurorack as well as sending midi out to other gear or even turning external midi into CV. The sequencer has 8 tracks with independent track length and built in midi effects for adding ratcheting and probability as well as other effects.

The synth line is made with a Malekko Manther Growl run through Qu-Bit's Prism. The Manter Growl is the synth voice from the Manther as a eurorack module with added CV controls and outputs for each waveform. The Prism is a stereo processor that combines comb filter, decimating and filtering effects into one with a freeze option built into the delay of the comb filter.

The kick drum is from Befaco's Kickall, snare is Intellijel's Plonk and hats are from WMD's Fracture. Everything is mixed together with Warm Star's Fragment."

Best Ambient Synth Shootout #70: JVC KB-500 - Song 1

Published on Jun 12, 2019 Christian's Sonic Spaces

"This is the first song with the KB-500. You might ask now, what the heck is a JVC KB-500? Well, it's a stereo keyboard from the early 80s. But the sound section seems to be fully analog. And it sounds surprisingly beautiful. Just that it's not possible make any changes to the preset sounds. But that hasn't stoped me to do some ambient with it ;-)

I used for the recording the following FX chain:
KB-500 - Zoom MS-70CDR - Alesis Ampliton - Alesis Philtre - Pigtronix Echolution 2 Deluxe - GFI System Specular Reverb 2. Depending on the recorded track some FX are deactivated.

The signal went through a Presonus StudioLive 16.0.2 into the PC via USB for recording. To create the complete song I recorded consecutively several stereo tracks. The final song was then mastered with a bit EQ and compression on some tracks and some limiting on the master track."

"The FSFX Custom Shop Fixed Filter Bank is a modern twist on the Classic Moog 914 Filter Bank. A total of 14 filters are used to create an effect like a graphic equalizer, but with bandpass filters that offer steeper slopes and a tasteful bit of resonance. Active filters are used for excellent signal to noise ratio, and increased output volume.

The Fixed Filter Bank can be used like the fader section of a mixer to blend together different frequency ranges of complex sounds. It can also be used to dial in resonant peaks typically found in nature and acoustic instruments. A wide stereo image can be created by utilizing the Odd and Even Outputs. The Fixed Filter Bank serves a unique and useful purpose for the creative synthesist.
Each module is fully hand assembled in Lawrence, KS.
