"Recently found a used Free State FX (FSFX) 103 Lopass Gate, so this is a first try, using the STG MooSonics Vanilla Envelope module to fire the LPG. One SSL 1660 goes into the LPG (the left SSL 1660, playing the bass line) and the other goes into the VCA on the Vanilla Envelope (the right SSL 1660, playing the higher, pluckier layer). So the same envelope affects both the LPG and VCA, but pretty differently. Vactrol!"

"The only sound source is the Dove Audio WTF oscillator and it’s being controlled by an SSL The Matrix sequencer, SSL Clock Divider, Free State FX Digital Utilities, and Martin Jan Koehler Tidal Modulator. The two outputs of the WTF each go to voicing patch consisting of a Happy Nerding Fun VCF, Free State FX Dual Trigger Processor, and one channel of a Grove Audio G714 Quad VCA. Reverb is from the Yamaha MG10XU mixing board."

"I got this Free State FX 5U version of the versatile Ornament And Crime module and while everything seems to work, the fourth output has a slew/lag/portamento to it! Doesn’t matter what app or CV input is used. Could it be a calibration issue? I’m thinking that maybe a wrong value capacitor got accidentally placed in the channel 4 output circuit? I actually like the effect a lot but wish it could be turned on and off and be timing adjustable for all channels! 😅 #modularsynth #electronicmusic #modularsynthesizer"
