"ARP Omni 2 analog synthesizer from the late 70s. String sections, poly synth section, and mono synth bass section all working and sounding great. Pretty versatile and fun synthesizer, classic ARP string and synth sounds, chorus, phaser etc. A.K.A. The Joy Division keyboard :)

This one has been serviced and re-capped (all upper and lower voice board tantalums replaced, and power supply filter caps replaced). There are some signs of it's age on the top of the case (see pics), and like any 40+ year old synthesizer it will probably need care over time, but it sounds great and is fully functional."

Number #B013

• 64 pages (patterns).

• Four tracks per page, with 16 steps each.

• Four concurrent pages (ie. 16 concurrent tracks).

• Control over velocity, pitch, length and start points, MIDI channel and MIDI Continuous Controller data for each track.

• Individual and editable runtime directions for each track.

• Polyphonic steps of up to seven notes (*chords or multi-trigger).

• Track self-modulation, via step events.

• Cross-modulation of tracks (via the Effector).

• 32 MIDI channels via two dedicated MIDI ports.

*Each step can hold a seven‑note chord, recorded in real time or entered manually, but there are restrictions caused by the way data is displayed. Genoqs represent note values by LED colours, and just three colours are available. This translates to a three‑octave span for the notes of your chord (each octave gets its own colour) and means each note can only be used once. Still, chords are a major plus, and a strumming feature can be used to break up the chord rhythmically, in an upwards or downwards direction."

Lorn - Acid Rain | Modular patch on Endorphin.es Shuttle System

Published on Sep 20, 2019 TheEndorphines

"Meanwhile the heat wave has passed and the rainy season is just around the corner, we decided to create a patch based on one of our office favourites - Acid Rain by Lorn.
In this patch we are using Roli Seaboard Block to play the melody and change its timbre using different MPE data, including 1v/oct pitch cv merged with with 2 octaves pitchbender, gate output, velocity, aftertouch and the horizontal axis movement. As a sound source we are using the Furthrrrr Generator output of the carrier oscillator into a series of 24db/oct Transistor Ladder filters, one of which is being controlled by Grand Terminal’s envelope that is being triggered by gate from the Shuttle Control.Additionally the final audio is fed through a Hall reverb, which makes the overall sound smoother and more distant. Velocity, aftertouch and axis movements are controlling the wave shape of the carrier oscillator, giving the sound more room to breathe and more of an organic feel.

Moog Matriarch Delay Comparison: Matriarch, MF 104m and Moog 500 series analog delay

Published on Sep 19, 2019 Modular Landing

"In response to a request, here is a comparison of the Moog Matriarch analog delay with two other Moog analog delays: the Moogerfooger MF-104m and the Moog 500 series analog delay. The Matriarch is supposedly modeled after the Moog 500 series. So how close does it get? Let me know what you think in the comments!

BTW: I tried to level match them but it's a quickly made video so apologies if it's not exact."

The Two Prophets | Matt Chadra

Published on Sep 19, 2019 ClavAnother

"This was made entirely with a pair of Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 synthesizers. One is a Rev 2 and the other a Rev 3. They operate the same, but sound very different from one another. They also compliment each other nicely.

Unfortunately the video from this session developed a fault and all that remains are some random still photos which I put together as a slideshow.

Thanks for watching!"
