stg voltage controlled switch

Published on Mar 9, 2016 caleb condit

"The talking stops at 4 min so skip forward if you just want to listen to the track. I'm demonstrating how voltage controlled switching and morphing can really bring a ton of movement to a patch. The STG voltage controlled switch I'm using is the prototype rev2 and rev3 is apparently being built right now and hopefully thats the last round and they'll start shipping soon. This product has been years in the making"

sub37 demo

Published on Sep 3, 2014 caleb condit

"People have been asking about this beast and I've been fortunate to have spent a few days with it at STG soundlabs and made a demo video last night of some factory patches/sequences and things I've made myself.

I tried to cover a bunch of different ways of using and sound so I hope you get something out of it."

thomas white triple lpg meets synthrotek voice of saturn

Published on Jun 17, 2014 caleb condit·67 videos

"this is a row of modules I just finished up soldering together and decided it was time to jam.
it's modular+akai ax-60+volca beats
also the akai at the end got run through a megaohm audio ma20 korg style filter with modulation as I was getting a bit of a feedback/ground hum and it took out the high frequency noise quite nicely and added in it's own little bit of white noise from the gain stage."

"abstract modular sound performance. The waveforms on the oscilloscope were "drawings" I was making the night before with a triangle wave and a wave folder with a bit of modulation. Enjoy"

The Ax Ambient

via Caleb Condit on The MATRIXSYNTH Lounge

"I just picked up an ax-60. I started by making some pads with it last night and then sync-ed it to ableton today to get some trigger arpeggiators and banged out this footwork-laced ambient track. This thing is amazing. All synth sounds come from the board."

266 Dub

"This is a track based around a sequence Caleb Condit made that uses the 266 romanf clone we have for sale in kit and completed form, MOTM and MU both. Most of the percussive noises and blips you hear are from the 266 based sequence. Another track with no other sounds but the 266 will also be in this stream, so stay tuned!"

via Caleb Condit on The MATRIXSYNTH Lounge

"Here's a demo I made for synthcube (I designed the 266 MU panel) at the STG soundlabs. I popped the 266 into his massive sequencing rig, got the king korg arpeggiating and then played bass on a juno 6."

Arpeggio = King Korg
Bass = Roland Juno-6
