Musikmesse: analog synthesizers on MUSIK MESSE Frankfurt 2009 - Musikmesse 4/4/2009
YouTube via AnalogAudio1
Kraftwerk - Die Roboter
YouTube via technik. Note this is the live German version.
"Kraftwerk - Die Roboter
(Rockpop, German TV ZDF, 1978)"
You can find the English video here. Embedding disabled unfortunately.
Note the white ARP Odyssey in the English version and what appears to be a black and gold ARP Axxe in the German. Correction [via ralf in the comments]: it's not an Axxe as there are switches under the slider, so it must be an Odyssey - it just looks narrower in the video. The other synth in the embedded video appears to be a Moog. Anyone know which one? The drums are custom. You can find a good image of them and a list of the instruments used by Kraftwerk over the years here. Note the site does not list the Axxe and the only Moog listed during the 70s is the Minimoog, yet the performance above from 1978, the other synth is clearly not a Mini.
Update via micke in the comments: "It's a Micromoog. Afaik they used it on The Man Machine album. And yes, that's indeed the Synthanorma sequencer." click on the Synthanorma label below for prior posts featuring the sequencer.

Technics SX-C600
YouTube via organfairy. More synthesized sounding voices come in at 1:25.
"In this the final organ demo I play the Technics SX-C600. It is an analogue digital hybrid with digital solo voices, bass, reverb, and rhytm. The other voices are analogue. I have played this instrument many times before here on YT. But in this case I try to use some of the rhytms and voices that I haven't used before. Finally I would like to dedicate the first song in this medley to my friend mr. Sten Demant who happens to "lurve" the sound of the organ banjo :-)
The songs I play are:
Funky Feet (Björn Ulveaus, Benny Anderson)
Maria Magdalena (Michael Cretu, Hubert Kemmler, Markus Löhr, Richard Palmer-James)
Matrimony (Gilbert O'Sullivan)
Did you have to love me like you did (Stony Browder jr, August Darnell)
In the summertime (Ray Dorset)
Jitterbach (Kai Ewans)
Bobblesex (Tommy Seebach)"

I couldn't find the auction so here is a search on Waldorf Microwave on Ebay in case it shows up later. Of course it might not be listed on the US site.

"Atari 2600 with SynthCart and Highly Liquid MIDI interface triggered from Ableton Live, playing SynthCart's preset beat loops, modular synth is gating the rhythm. Signal is split in two, one path is ringmodulated, both filters are also seperately modulated with Midi controllers and a Doepfer MCV4.
What you hear is the first stage in my sound design process: To record audio into Ableton Live, after that everything gets sliced, chopped, warped, mangled and whatnot."

"Playing with the CGS59 programmer / sequencer.
It's connected to the boolean logic module causing it to step the way it does.
The Function generators provide the sound + envelopes for the VCA.
No filter, it's just a slow triangle from one FG into the CGS38 causing it to do the sweeping sound.
And I'm gonna need more patch cables before I can start to make anything that sound more interesting... And a second panel, with real oscillators and filters."

"Comparing these synths, and showing how similar and different they can sound... It's weird that everyone seems to comare these so much, because, it's kinda hard to make them sound the same... if not really impossible.
Strings can be very similar... but that's just about it."
