"this stream was an unstructured/unscheduled/unserious livestream technology test so there r a lot of dropped vid frames, but the audio streamed fine. down to very low to zer0 kbs vid at some points..!

drone & noise stuff & random twiddlez thru serum on this one [single instance / no external eq or fx].

"Cadence consists of 4 square wave oscillators and can be used in a variety of ways.

This video demonstrates a few different things that can be achieved with Cadence. Jump to the timestamps below.

00:00 Pam's new workout is replacing oscillator A and B. All other oscillators are switched to cascade sync. Oscillators A, B and C are used as triggers to the Prok drum modules. Oscillator D is providing the tones while the filter is modulated by pam's pro workout.
01:19 Cadence creating drones and ronal rhythms using the internal oscillators.
03:04 Using all of Cadence's oscillators as gates to trigger samples in Square Instruments Sample.
04:03 Replacing oscillators A and B with external gates from Pam's pro workout then sending these through "COUNT" and out to trigger drum hits. Relaxing oscillator C with an external oscillator to then divide the signal with "COUNT". Cadence's filter being controlled by an envelope generator.
05:18 Oscillators A - C triggering drum samples in cascade sync with each other. Oscillator D clocking the Turing machine - Plaits' V/Oct
06:47 Oscillator A replaced with external gate. All sync switches on creating rhythmic tones within the beats.
07:42 More standalone drones

"The song was build in a patch I've made on the Virus TI, it's a bassline based on a wavetable which index is heavily modulated by the velocity of the virus arp, there are many modular patches running in the background as well, creating a somewhat wall of sound doubled with guitars and bass for impact and tonality."

"'Aloysius' is an envelope with an unusual AHDW (attack/hold/decay/wait) confguration, sometimes referred to as a trapezoid generator. CV control of all envelope times is provided. The envelope can be set to auto-trigger, turning it into a complex voltage-controlled LFO.

The shape of the attack and decay sections can be independently and continuously adjusted from exponential, through linear, to logarithmic.

The module is constructed entirely from analogue parts and discrete logic. There is no microcontroller or digital-to-analogue conversion involved and therefore no quantization of voltage levels or of the response time."

"After being held hostage for over 2 weeks THREE BODY is finally here.

This is a first test minutes after taking it out of the box. Just ace. I love it when modules are self explanatory, yet take some deep understanding to get to the bottom of it (aka instant satisfaction but a lot of room for abuse and exploration).

Schlappi Engineering surely did a terrific job with this one.

Featuring MANDRAKE by Malstrom Audio for kicks, ORBIT 3 by Joranalogue Audio Design for the snare and hats and CHORUS 6 by Soundforce for some tempo synced stereo movement of those hats (aided by Dual LFO)."
