"Metunar Live at the Chrämerhuus/Langenthal/Switzerland in 25. October 2024.
This video is a concert excerpt. I played songs from my „Music for Cinemas“ and „Fresh Paint“ project.

Did you spot the grasshopper?

Technically I used a kind of modular multitrack song player. All songs are composed of 4 loops/samples (from the Squarp Rampler) and 8 main loops (from the Dave Rossum Assimil8or). Mix and effect manipulation is done live.

"Got a new camera, so i did another multicam video. All sounds are from the modular. Some drum samples are played by the MPC 5000 but are also sampled from the modular."

"Got a Multicam Project to do, so i made this improvised track and recorded it with different cams and angles.
It was only meant as a test for the video, but in the end i liked the music and that's why i uploaded it to YT.
That was the first test. I recorded the music and the video at the same time."

"Metunar macht Musik frei improvisiert. Das ist ein Ausschnitt des Konzerts.
Aufgenommen am 29. Dezember 2024 in der Galerie Fafou / Oberuzwil / Schweiz.
Die Musik wurde inspiriert von der Kohlezeichnung im Hintergrund 'Spuren der Genese' von Michaela Medea.
Folgende Instrumente habe ich dazu benutzt:
Akai MPC ONE als Drumcomputer und Delay Looper
Mellotron Micro und Novation Bass Station 2 für Bässe und Melodie
MXR Pitch Transposer und Aira Torcido als FX

Metunar makes music freely improvised. This is an excerpt from the concert.
Recorded on December 29, 2024 at the Galerie Fafou / Oberuzwil / Switzerland.
The music was inspired by the charcoal drawing in the background 'Spuren der Genese' by Michaela Medea.
I used the following instruments:

Live Auftritt im Chrämerhuus/Langenthal im November 2018.

Live performance in the Chämerhuus in Langenthal/Switzerland in November 2018. Audio is direct taken from the videocam.
I used a Manikin Schrittmacher and Roland Integra and also a Synthstrom Deluge for sequences. Drones and textures are made with the Tasty Chips GR-1 Granular Synthesizer.
I played some songs from the Electro Traveller project."

"Another feedback drone with a no input mixer patch.
The sound sources are 10 feedback loops from an Allen & Heath WZ3 14:4:2 analog mixer (white fader on the mixer) and 2 filtered noises form the Clavia/Nord G2 Engine (blue Fader).
All this sounds go parallel into 6 effects sends. 3 sends of them go to the modified Roland VG-8 (red fader) and the other 3 go to the Nord G2 Engine with filtered delay and reverb (yellow fader)."

"Another track of my Modular Synthesizer Live Set from 2022.

Project = Fresh Paint
Song = Track 06
Stile = Some kind of Acidjazz/Rock.
Setup = The Dave Rossum sampler Assimil8or plays 8 loops with different length. In the modular i mix these loops live together and add some effects. On the Guitar is a lot of Frequency Shifter (XAOC Koszalin Frequency Shiftor) effect. For the Percussion i patched a 3D Panner (Pan and Filter modulated with an LFO with 90° offset). This set can also be used with a quadrophonic PA.

"Demo of 8 sound layers i made for the Yamaha FVX-1 FM-Synthesizer.

This rare FM-Synth is 4 times multitimbral with 8 voices and an independent effect per part.
It uses 8 OP FM. All sounds are form the Yamaha FVX-1.
Direct recording without externel effects or mastering.
