"Here's some Eurorack beats and bass that came from wanting to build up a big sounding stereo mix from a small Eurorack mixer, which was the ST. Mix by Befaco. The piece built around that but quickly went into working basslines with moving pitches against a static pedal tone that plays an octave higher. Hints of chord tones develop as the bass moves and the pedal tone stays static. The beats shift with random probability and I'm just playing around with this live.

Cuckoo preparing 2014 live set - LILY BIRD (LIVE)

"September 27th, 2014 I'm playing live in Oslo, at this place called Kolonihagen Grünerløkka. I'll be spending a lot of time in June and September to create a new live set. I just wanted to let you in on the process a little bit. Here's a little taste of what it might be like.

I'm performing yet another version of my dear sweetheart Lily Bird (version 6, Cuckoo trivia...), and this time with the Analog Rytm and the Analog Keys only. I think for the final version I'll be using some samples and some more thought through live keys playing.

The Elektron Analog Keys can do Multi Map. You can play different patches on each key if you want - or different zones with different sounds, and even specify special sections of the keyboard to play external MIDI. So many possibilities here. And this is a tutorial of how you do it.
