Filament Makes Orchestrating Plugins a Snap

video upload by Metamyther and Forma Labs Audio

"Forma Labs' Filament transforms a single Midi sequence into a fully orchestrated, multi-instrument arrangement in real time. In this video, we look at Filament's powerful workflow, including intelligent chord revoicing, its flexible routing matrix, and built-in phrase arpeggiators. Whether you're composing cinematic scores, building evolving ambient textures, creating hybrid orchestral-electronic music, or experimenting with complex MIDI routing, Filament offers a radically different approach to composition.

"filament hosts up to 64 VST/AU instruments inside a single DAW track—orchestral libraries, synths, or any combination you want. Route any of 8 input voices to any output, each with its own transpose (−24 to +24 semitones). Bass voice to cellos at −12, middle voices to violas at 0, top voice to violins at +12—or one chord spread across three synths, each in its own octave. One chord in, full orchestration out.

Isobar Industries Serratus is Completely Unhinged Madness

video upload by Metamyther and Isobar Industries

"Isobar's new module Serratus features 9 comb filters and 9 mutations, which combined with deep sound sculpting parameters, provide completely unparalleled sonic exploration. Make drones, noisy blasts, and even demented choirs with this beast of a module. Required viewing for fans of the Vhikk X, Befaco Oneiroi, or noise, industrial, and dark techno of all kinds."

A matrix of resonant delay bodies and mutations. Serratus weaves nine comb algorithms against nine distortion, saturation, and mutation processes, with each intersection morphable in real time. Chaos and generative modulation treat the whole system as a living organism, while independent routing places filter, distortion, and reverb before, inside, or after the feedback loop, sculpting everything from string plucks and resonant percussion to frozen spectral drones and chaotic self-generating textures.

Playing around with Vhikk X by Forge TME

video upload by Stazma and Forge TME

"Today I'm happy to show you some stuff with the Vhikk X by Forge TME.

No proper demo or tutorial here as it's been done quite a bunch of time by other people such as ‪@metamyther‬. Here I'm just having fun and explaining a few things while trying to figure out that beast, but mostly I'm having fun making a great bunch of weird sounds.
Also first try of the Random8 from m8 ‪@mylarmelodies‬ and ‪@Befacosynth‬ ;-)

Have fun!!!"

Eternal Research Demon Box
Summon the sounds of electromagnetic oddities with Demon Box from Eternal Research, an innovative instrument that condenses the practice of using EMF for audio and control signals in a unified device. At the top surface of the Demon Box's triangular enclosure, a literal platform for audio experimentation awaits. Here, three channels of EMF inductor pickups are arranged in a nested spiral formation, which can be used to create unique tones and control signals by interacting with any object that produces EMF near the inductors. Power tools, FM radios, eBows, tuning forks, and other personal electronics become diverse sources for synthesizing tones, controlling modular synths, and even producing MIDI signals. Turning the inaudible waves of ambient and ubiquitous electro-ephemera into creative signal sources, the Demon Box offers a deep well of musical meaning-making waiting to be discovered.
