"In this video, we're showcasing the Maximus 4V in action—live sequencing, sound design, and onboard processing all handled within a single analogue powerhouse. Four independent sequencers are running simultaneously on the Maximus 4V, each controlling different parts of the patch. The Maximus is also supplying the master clock to the Arturia DrumBrute, keeping everything in tight sync.

Four synth voices are brought in and out of the mix in real time using the built-in stereo mixer, allowing for hands-on performance and fluid arrangement. To shape the sound further, onboard effects are introduced via the dedicated effects section, with modulation and space controlled through the right-side fader bank.

All sound sources and sequencing are generated by the Maximus 4V and DrumBrute—no external MIDI, DAW, or backing tracks. Just pure, live analogue control."

Designed and built with precision, the AS Vocoder brings the distinctive warmth and character of classic analogue vocoding into contemporary studio environments.

This vocoder is not a digital emulation—it’s the real deal, offering 100% analogue audio paths and modulation circuits. While the AS Vocoder draws design inspiration from vintage classics of the 1970s, such as iconic vocoder units used in groundbreaking electronic music, all circuits within the AS Vocoder are original Analogue Solutions designs.

Stockport, United Kingdom – April 28, 2025 – Resonance Studios, launched on 808 Day (August 8, 2024), is fearlessly challenging the music industry’s practice of abandoning vintage equipment. By committing to the preservation of these iconic instruments, the Stockport-based studio has curated one of the world’s largest collections of new and vintage musical equipment, earning its place among the top six global hubs for synthesizers, drum machines, and samplers. Expansion Plans
In late 2024, Resonance Studios expanded its team with Producer Tom Sharkett (Pictured) and invested in the latest, state-of-the-art SSL Origin analogue mixing console, complemented by a premium array of outboard equipment, including Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor, Empirical Labs Distressors, Lexicon 224, and Neve Shelford Channel. In 2025, the studio will double its footprint by adding another floor to its premises which is located less than half a mile from the iconic Strawberry Studios. The Omni is played live by hand, and the Fusebox X bass pitch is manually triggered live using the Interval Generator (IG).
