"We take a ride through several major freeways in San Diego and the surrounding areas. We start downtown on I-5, cross CA 163 (which we featured in a previous video), and turn east on CA 94. We follow CA 94 for a while, and then turn north on CA 125. Shortly thereafter, we turn east onto I-8, and then north onto CA 67, where we meet CA 52 in anticipation of the next video...

Arturia Minifreak: Atmo Noisy Techno & Ambient Presets Demo

"🔮 Mystic Alloy is a collection of 64 patches for Arturia Minifreak (+ Analog Lab V).
It consists of: 11 Arps, 11 Basses, 10 Leads, 10 Pads, 11 Synths, and 11 Textures.
The bank spans a broad spectrum of timbres: dark, noisy, lo-fi, retro, atmospheric, detuned, huge, bright, distorted, metallic, amped and others.

🧿 The sounds have some kind of magical charm, for example, it is alchemy, where a variety of components are combined to obtain the desired sound.
The patches use granular, FM, wave and other types of synthesis in Minifreak, which interact with each other and give a unique, sometimes experimental sound, but still usable.
👤 The author of the soundset is skendi (Arseniy Pushkov).

The beautiful & scenic Taconic Parkway in Westchester County, New York

"We take a ride along the beautiful and scenic Taconic Parkway in Westchester County, New York. The Taconic functions as a freeway in the northern suburbs of New York City and one of the main routes connecting north to the state capital in Albany. The highway is designed to be in harmonic with its landscape, sometimes broad and open, sometimes narrower and winder, as the terrain changes.

In this first of multiple videos, we start just north of its junction with the Saw Mill Parkway (as seen in a previous video) and heading north passing NY routes 100 and 133 in Millwood and Chappaqua (where CatSynth creator and host Amanda Chaudhary grew up), crossing the Croton Reservoir on the AMVETS Memorial Bridge, and passing Franklin D Roosevelt State Park. We turn off the Taconic onto the Bear Mountain Parkway, US 202 and NY 35.

The music through most of this video is the track "Taconic Parkway Bridge" off of Amanda Chaudhary's new album January Suborbital Denomination. The track features composer and musician Jerry King on electronic guitars in addition to Amanda on keyboards and synthesizers. You can hear (and purchase) the album at:

Like all my sound packs, SUBSPACE is a collection of sounds that were created in a musical context for my own tracks. So the main focus is again on drones, pads, arps and lively pluck sounds in various forms. These sounds are suitable for a variety of genres ... but of course (like all my sound packs) perfectly suitable for ambient, psybient, downbeat, soundtracks and chillout music.
