"Here are a shoddy "proof this exists" video of a dual suboscillator (-1 octave, -2octaves times two) that can be used as a hand held device or a 8HP Eurorack module (where you get a total of four sub oscs) for use with modular synths or semi-modular synths with a patch bay. These sub oscillator modules are only powered by the waveform you send into them, so they do not require a conventional power supply.

I call this an EDI module because it's intended to be free but linked to a donation to the Women's Audio Mission and/or The Trevor Project, i.e. if you make one of these for yourself, I expect you to donate a little bit to either or both of these institutions, and if you want to make commercial use of it, you have to donate in proportion to how many modules you sell.

"Some easy modifications (Filter FM, VCA boost) and a couple of inside pictures of the Donner L1 synthesizer module. You can see how the alfa par ICs are used for VCO, VCF and VCA, how the whole magnetic keyboard system is arranged and how the ADSRs are digital (not that they soudn any less funky!). All sounds in the demo are from a modified unit."

"Little fun 'comparison' between Moog Muse and Sequential Prophet 5, Rev4. Some sounds are not super well matched, but you get the drift. Rev 4 filter is set to SSIi2140. The Muse is always on one side of the panorama and the Prophet 5 on the other. This is not meant as an 'whats better?' or 'can x replace y' thing - I was just interested in how close they can get for some basic sounds.
