4 ways of exploring the Queen of Pentacles by KiNK
Endorphin.es
"KiNK (@kink303) has become one of house music’s most in demand producers and remixers: his tracks easily stand out in any club night and they are second to none in the most competitive environment electronic music has ever seen. His abilities in finding the ‘sweet spot’ of new machines and even of sounds considered ‘classic’ and to reshape them into totally different beasts would be totally enough to justify the phenomenon. Yet this barely touches the surface of the story."

KiNK Session : Modor NF-1 (part 1)
Published on Feb 26, 2018 kink303
"a very basic and honest demo with NF-1. I`m playing a chord from the midi keyboard above and then processing the pitch and the timbre with the controls of the synth. No additional processing involved, the sound is recorded in my DAW directly from NF-1`s output."

KiNK Tiptop Audio QuantiZer test 1
Published on Dec 15, 2016 kink303
"In this little session I`m feeding a quantizer with modulation voltages and gates can turn it into a pretty interesting squencer. Here I`m using the new QuantiZer by Tiptop Audio, feeding it with voltages from Intellijel Quadra (a loopable envelope) and I`m triggering it with Tiptop Audio Circadian Rhythms. The drums are Tiptop too, the oscillator is the Cloud Generator and the filter is Cwejman MMF-6. Funk phenomena!"

KiNK : Midnight Patch
Published on Sep 8, 2015 kink303
"Here is a simple patch on my Eurorack system, I almost don`t do nothing, so I focused my camera on the beautiful lights. Modules used: Tiptop Audio Circadian Rhythms, BD909, Hats909, Make Noise MMG, DPO, Maths, Wogglebug, Doepfer A-125. Other gear: TC Electronic SCF, A/DA Flanger, Mackie 16.8.2. I did a little edit of the video for more drama, enjoy :)"

KiNK / Aira Modular / TR-8 / Rhodes
Published on Sep 3, 2015 kink303
"KiNK session with Roland AIRA modular (Torcido, Scooper), TR-8 and a Rhodes piano. I use Torcido as a preamp and tremollo effect on the Rhodes, also as a modulation source for Scooper. I use Scooper as looper / sampler, I trigger Scooper`s sample start and Torcido`s LFO reset with TR-8`s rim shot. Rhodes piano as a sound source, drums - TR-8. Here are the modification files for both modules, if you want to use them like me: https://www.sendspace.com/file/w8q669"

KiNK with Roland MX-1, MFB 522 and Tom 1501
Published on Mar 20, 2015 kink303
"Here im using the Roland MX-1 digital mixer with analog gear, MFB 522 for drums and the rare Russian analog poly synth Tom 1501. The keyboard doesnt have any sequencing functions, memory or effects, so I`m animating the sound entirely with the MX-1. In order to have sustained sounds, I stick the keys with tape or just play them by hands. The slicing / pitching pattern in MX-1 was programmed before shooting the video. I didn`t programmed it during the session, just because I got that groove going, before i press record. I liked it so much and I decided to keep it for the video. I hope you like it too"

KiNK TR-8 / 707-727 patch + locked grooves on Pets Recordings
Published on Dec 24, 2014 kink303
"I`m jamming with Roland TR-8 / 707-727 patch and locked grooves from my new single, upcoming on Pets Recordings. Sorry for the sloppy mix, I decided to use the original tempo of the record and as the pitch control was on 0, it was hard to change the tempo with just a tiny bit.. However, I liked the raw power, so I decided not to re-record it. I hope you like it, Merry Christmas and happy New Year :)"

KiNK TR-8 / vinyl loop jam
Published on Nov 20, 2014 kink303
"here is a little jam with TR-8 and a vinyl loop. After it went viral on Facebook, I decided to upload it here as well. The useful thing in it is that you can hear the sound of a classic drummachine through an overdrive pedal, I used Pigtronix Bass Fat Drive. Bear in mind the lo-fi effect on the snares, it`s from the TR8 itself, a lo-fi filter / degrader in the Delay FX section. I hope you like it and find it useful."

KiNK with Roland T.R. 8 test 2
Published on Sep 23, 2014 kink303
"People say Roland T.R. 808 is the sexiest drum machine ever, so here is my second Roland TR 8 demo, focused on those sounds! there is no additional processing, beside the fact that I was running the levels on the mixer in red by mistake. I liked it anyway :) I hope you`ll like it too!"

KiNK with Roland T.R. 8 test 1
Published on Jul 14, 2014 kink303
"First test with Roland T.R. 8, showing the 909 sounds of the machine. I start from scratch, with nothing in the memory. I kept the sound unprocessed, so you can decide if you want to buy it or not. The next demos will be more raw and distorted, as I like it :)"

KiNK with 707
Published on Jan 27, 2014 kink303·21 videos
"here I`m playing around with a Roland t.r. 707 drum machine and more specifically the Tap Write function on the sequencer (a feature, which I discovered just recently). The sound is recorded through FMR RNLA and Mackie mixing desk. As the original session was too long for a simple drum track, I chopped off three short segments of it."

KiNK on Pressure Points
Published on Nov 19, 2013 kink303·23 videos
"Hi :) This is a demonstration of four Pressure Points eurorack modules, including few other components by Make Noise. The first two blocks are linked with Brains module and used as step sequencer, taking clock from Maths module. They are sending back different CV to Maths "Decay" parameter, so the clock makes "swing" effect with different values per step, also gate back to Maths, to reset the clock when I touch them. They also send CV to the Dual Prismatic Oscilator and gate to the "strike" inputs of the DPO and Optomix (a Lowpass Gate). The first two P.Points are also sending pressure CV to the "Fold" input of DPO, which generates more harmonics when I press the modules. The 3rd P.Points is sending CV to Maths Attack parameter and to Brains "reset" input, so when i touch it - the current note is being looped and extended or shortened, depends on the different Attack value per key. The 4th PPoints is sending CV to the exponential input of the DPO, changing the general tune of the oscilator. A Wogglebug module is adding little randomness through its Woggle output in DPO FM Buss input. I hope you`ll like it, much more to come when I finish and learn the system, this is just a warm up :)"

KiNK with The Ribbon
Uploaded by kink303 on Nov 28, 2011
"I generate the sound with "The Ribbon" (I use its internal sine wave source). I record / overdub the audio in Ableton with the help of Launchpad. The tones are slightly out of tune, because there is no pitch quantization on the instrument."
KiNK session with the MFB Orchestra
video upload by kink303 Uploaded by kink303 on Jan 8, 2012
"this is a composing session with MFB Uzrwerg Pro, MFB Microzwerg, MFB Synth II and MFB 522. Both solo synths are going through Line 6 Echo Park delay, everything goes into a mini mixer by Behringer and ends up recorded on Revox A77 reel to reel recorder. The sound on the video comes from the tape, in the beginning you can hear old sessions, which werent completely erased and they mix with the new recording:) Its all analog (beside the delay). I use the Urzwerg to make sequences on the fly for the Microzwerg and the Synth II. The 522 drummachine is synced to the rest and i use its built in sequencer."
KiNK in the lab with Leploop and Memory Man with Hazari
Published on Sep 26, 2012 by kink303
"Hi! Here is an excerpt of a session with the lovely Leploop, which goes through Electroharmonix Memory Man with Hazari. The full session is 33 min. long, my current youtube account doesn`t let me upload it. (pls. tell me if you know a solution) I decided to make an edit with few chosen parts. This is a quick overview of some part of the sounds you can produce with this setup. However, Leploop have much more to offer, so more full lenght videos with a bit more stripped down approach will be recorded. Stay tuned:)"
