why

"short little experiment using major 2nds. Synthesizer voice one plays in whole note one measure phrases, Synthesizer voice 2 plays in whole note two measure phrases, Synthesizer voice 3 plays in whole note four measure phrases, Synthesizer voice 4 plays in whole note eight measure phrases, and Synthesizer voice 5 plays whole note ten measure phrases. There is a delay of two measures between each voice entry.
Vocals are doubled, mangled and modified. The primary vocal speaks in words elongated across two measures. The second vocal is time-stretched so that each word is spread across four measures and overlaps with the primary voice."

"This is to show you that the LFO outs are audible. There is a range selection switch: Hyper, normal, slow.
(2) outputs can be morphed with the shape knob. You can make a double saw or trapezoidal shape with those."

dual lfo take002

"This demo shows you the dual lfo being used to control a polivoks filter. The filter is put into self rezonance. The lfo is making it twirp chaotic."

Hands On Chicago 10/10

via GetLoFi where you'll find some additional info.

"Don’t be afraid to touch and interact with the artwork in Hands On, presented by Chicago-based collective, Deadline Projects. Breaking down boundaries between art and audience in this one-night exhibition, local artists unveil new work specifically created to be touched, handled, and manipulated by the audience. Hands On is part of Chicago Artists Month 2009, the fourteenth annual celebration of Chicago’s vibrant visual art community. In October, more than 200 exhibitions of emerging and established artists, openings, demonstrations, tours, open studios and neighborhood art walks take place at galleries, cultural centers and arts buildings throughout the city. Chicago Artists Month is organized by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and is made possible through support provided by Bank of America. I think I need to get George Mattson to build me one.
