YouTube via doctorvague — April 16, 2010 — "A little noisier one this time. I left the dynamics in so low parts are actually quieter and loud notes are louder. It's this new thing I just figured out. Using an Akai APC40 below camera firing Numerology presets created previously to a MOTM 650 Midi2CV converter for pitch. For triggers MOTU Volta to a DIY switcher upper right supplying different division rhythmic triggers to a Moon Modular trigger sequencer and a Modcan Digital delay. MegaOhm Delta Filter, Synthesizers.com State Variable Filter and MOTM 440 filter. Encore Electronics UEG, Synthesizers.com oscillators, envelope generators, mixer, VCA etc. Lots of partial cross-mod and partial soft-sync between the oscillators to get it to balance between notes and noise. Synthesizers.com excel at that stuff, especially the soft sync on the oscillator aid."
"Here 's a short clip using the Movement "Sequence Memory Rythm". This one got the same feature and sound almost like a dr55 . Didn 't know much about this brand but after a quick search it seems that they also released some big drum computers in the early 80 's." Also see the rare Movement-MCS Drum Computer (scroll)

"This unit was custom made for me by Dave Simmons in the mid 70's to cut down on "luggage" to and from sessions and believe me, this small box was a BIG help! and can be heard on countless Movies, TV programs, Jingles and albums from its creation up until I hung up my session spurs in the late 80's.
The box is made up of
some seriously major
Vintage Heavy Hitters
such as the
Boss CE1 Chorus/Ensemble
Roland AP.7 Jet Phaser
Boss GE-10 Graphic Equalizer
MXR Phase 90
MXR Flanger
MXR Noise Gate
MXR VCF
Last but by no means least,
A custom Mono-Synth that switches between ARP, Moog and Oberheim circuits for unbeatable flexibility."
"very rare Arp Avatar synthesizer. There were only a few hundred of them made. This was made to use with guitar but works really well as a CV controlled synth. It's basically an Arp Odyssey without the keyboard... It was recently serviced by Arp repair guru Phil Cirocco and mechanically is working as it should. Servicing cost me about $1000 so I will start bidding there. See the .jpg of my invoice for the servicing for a complete list of fixes and modifications or go here for a more complete explanation of the upgrades and repair Phil does on Avatars
Also included is the Arp hexaphonic pickup that would be installed on your guitar. I do not have the cable that goes from the guitar to the Avatar however. I will include the Arp Avatar service manual and you should be able to make the cable yourself."
Unfortunately no audio demo. It reminded me of this post on why everyone needs, or rather could take advantage of a modular. YouTube via mica1963 — June 29, 2008 — Diversos efeitos de guitarra numa Ășnica bancada
