"You probably know the whole Minimoog story, but this instrument is truly unique with its Model 1150 Ribbon Controller. Fluid expression offers endless possibilities, again not even remotely digital. Still sounds amazing, and everything seems to work. But it really needs cleaning and calibration.."

Jordan Passmore demo of the Roland SH-09 and Roland TR-808.

Published on Oct 8, 2012 by Jordan Passmore

"Here is a quick demo of the Roland SH-09 Monophonic Analog Synthesizer and the Roland TR-808 Analog Drummachine. The 808 is sending a trigger out to the SH-09's gate input. Both units are mixed on my Studiomaster Mixer (with minimal eq), then sent to the input on my soundcard (NI Kore 1)."

buchla 100 clone fun

Published on Oct 8, 2012 by vgermuse

"the first exploration of a lovely set of Buchla 100 clone modules made by djangosfire: 158 Dual Sine-Saw Generator; 180 Dual Attack Generator; 110 Dual VC Gate. First a quick sweep through the oscillator then some wild S&H stuff to show the variety of attacks/decays of the 180 -- no effects just straight into a keyboard amp, and of course (unfortunately) the flipcam mic, ugh. I'll try and get a nice soundcloud track up soon, hopefully you'll get a glimpse of the possible sounds from this rough video. See djangosfire youtube channel here:

Depeche Mode Style Analog Filtering

"Wiard Oscillator, Pittsburgh Modular ASDR, Intellijel and uVCA, Toppobrillo Multifilter, Boss DM-100, Doepfer Dark Time, Kenton Pro-2000 to Sync with Ableton Live and TR-707 drums."

Anyone know if the following is true? "Note: the pulsewidth envelope pot is a bit looser than the other pots on the synthesizer. It is part of the design, a standard feature on all of the Minibrute synths and it adjusts just fine."
