DS-10 Dominator - Formulas
Published on Oct 17, 2012 by DS10Dominator
"As DS-10 Dominator I always experiment with the crossover of different EDM genres. In Formulas you can find influences from acid, drum 'n' bass, gabber, footwork, dubstep. Music (played live on Nintendo DS) & video editing by DS-10 Dominator (Rutger Muller). Camera images by Youssef Kaputnik (Akemiƶ Grey) ! TV-oscilloscope property of Rubin van Kooyk :).
"We're not going to arrive at a brand new sound or note or anything. It has to be a combination of two elements that together creates a third. The only way to arrive at something a little different is by combining things now." -- Bill Laswell (taken from EDM documentary Modulations)"

MIDI Designer iPhone demo - iOS MIDI controller designer
Published on Oct 16, 2012 by iOSMusician5
"The MIDI Designer app for iPad / iPhone (support coming soon) allows you to design the perfect MIDI controller to fit your needs. This is quick demo of the iPhone version which will be available soon as a free update. What really sets this app apart from the Lemur iOS app is that you can design ON YOUR DEVICE. Lemur does feature the physics engine but I've gotten word from the developer that we may see that at some point: http://twitter.com/MIDIDesigner/status/250668991553626112

Paia Modular Reacts to Tonight's Debate
Paia Test
Published on Oct 16, 2012 by vitalance
"Two oscillators are going through the two filter and then into channels one and two on the mixer. The third Oscillator is going straight into the Reverb and then into mixer channel 3. The Noise module is going straight into channel four on the mixer. The pitch of all three Oscillators are being controlled by one of the Envelope Generators. The other Envelope Generator is controlling the oscillator cutoff frequency. The bottom Envelope Generator is triggering the top one.The 4761 Multiple module is allowing the Envelope Generators two control more than one source. At the beginning and the end the EG's are being triggered by the 8700 keyboard through the 8780 and 8781 modules.
The second Presidential Debate (10/16/12) is playing in the background."
