Exploring The Temple Electric
Published on Oct 13, 2014 John L Rice
"More fun with oscilloscopes! The title is a reference to a series of pieces I did a few years ago titled 'Spirits Of The Temple Electric' and the last one in the series shows how I got the effected look in the second half of this video. (if you pause this video in random places in the second half you may 'reveal' some spirits of the temple! ;-) All sounds heard are from my large modular synthesizer."
"Foppone" - retro House with M1, SH-101, and TR-909
Published on Oct 13, 2014
"'Foppone' (ver 2) - retro House with M1, SH-101, and TR-909. You might be curious about the title. It means nothing. Other than it kinda sounds funny in Italian. Like a big foppo. A foppone. I've got my Marky Mark on tonight, I suppose. This is ver. 2, the original snippet / inspiration was a bit different."
RV600 - Behringer Reverb pedal tested in acidic environment ( with x0xb0x TB303 clone)
Published on Oct 13, 2014 zbr_audio
"RV600 is a low budget digital reverb pedal. How useful is it in electronic music production?
Recorded in one go, mono output from xoxbox into reverb pedal - stereo output into soundcard. Minor editing, no FX, no EQ.
Some internal distortion from z0xb0x at some point. Crackling pots too.
sequenced with Mono Sequencer (one midi loop used throughout the video, no automation used)
+bonus track at the end (ESX run through RV600)"

Thought I posted this one already, but apparently not. Some great synth spotting throughout this one. What's that on the desk with Sequential Circuits typeface on the desk at 5:01?
"'Delta Machine'. The new album from Depeche Mode. March 25th (Europe) / March 26th (North America)."

Meng Qi - Playable Patchbay 0
Published on Oct 13, 2014 Qi Meng
"This is an instrument I made to experiment with 'playable patchbay' principle.
Most modular synth controllers are made to generate expressive control signals in real time based on players’ controls. I decided to take a totally different approach of control by bringing the whole synth patching process onto playing interface.
Modular synth systems usually utilize an interface assembled with jacks, and some others utilize patching matrix such as EMS VCS3. The time and gestures involved for both interfaces are much, and in most cases it is not practical to alter multiple patch connections at the same time.
This instrument has an patching interface with springs and copper tape, not very much unlike a matrix patchbay. But now all points can be patched by simply pressing the springs onto the tape, similar to playing gestures of some string instruments, multiple signal connections can be done at the same time without effort.
CL Tetrax is chosen to take part for sound synthesis in this instrument. It’s an analog 4 voice engine based on Peter’s unique synthesis principle."
plumbutter deerhorn ultrasound

"This video is about plumbutter deerhorn ultrasound. thats correct
A little about the patch:
Audio out of deer horn into one ultrasound which is modulated by the pll of deer horn.
Output of that ultrasound into other ultrasound which is modulated by one audio channel of the deer horn.
How says deer horn sounds weak?"
