"It uses 16 analog dco oscillators at 2 per voice and 8 analog curtis 3372 rev.c filters of the same design used in the prophet T8. All the buttons work, the pitch bend and assignable mod wheel work, and all the keys trigger and feel nice to play. The 96 patch memory is full of awesome vintage sounds. This is a recommended item and it would make a wonderful addition to any studio. Cosmetically it shows some of it's age with scratches (especially on the display cover) and wear (please view the photos). It appears to have been outside a studio a some point and has marks on the keys."

"This is a great Minimoog Model D, and an excellent opportunity to get a vintage one at a good value, as it's been substantially modified. All the original functionality is completely intact, but it has some pretty fantastic extra features. The modifications include:
Ribbon Controller - Mounted in front of the keyboard, currently connected to the pitch wheel, with on/off switch
4th Oscillator - Square or triangle wave + frequency knob
Modulation on oscillators 2 and 3, with independent "on/off" switches for oscillators 1, 2 and 3
"Modulation Mix" control now blends oscillators 3 and 4
Separate modulation level knob for the noise source
I didn't do these mods and I don't know who did. The osc 3 + 4 modulation mods appear to be a DIY version of the common Rivera mod. I can't tell you much about how they were implemented; all I know is they sound musical and cool, they work well, and they greatly expand the sound palette of the original circuit. This Minimoog is in good functional condition, with the exception of some scratchy pots. The serial number is 5297 so it has the old oscillator board.
The keyboard holds its tune reasonably well; not the best I've used but certainly not the worst. Scaling is good and usable but not perfect. The bus bar seems clean and good, and all key contacts seem to work reliably. Cosmetically it looks pretty good, but it's definitely not in mint condition. As you can see, some of the finish on the wood panels has worn off, several of the chrome knob caps are missing, and there's a crack in the wood at the top of the control panel. Also note that the frame was cut below the keyboard to accommodate the ribbon controller, though it was done quite nicely and certainly doesn't impact the structural integrity of the keyboard. There is some other minor wear, so please look closely at the pictures; I've tried to be as thorough as possible. It will ship in the blue flight case shown in the pictures. Here are some closeup pictures of the control panel; all of the added controls are on the far left"

4ms Spectral Multiband Resonator vs. KOMA Elektronik Komplex Sequencer
Published on Feb 4, 2015 4mspedals
"In the aftermath of NAMM 2015, the KOMA Elektronik team came to Portland to hang out at the 4ms workspace. We decided to hook up our latest inventions, the 4ms Spectral Multiband Resonator, and the KOMA Komplex Sequencer. The following jam ensued.
The CV out of Sequencer A of the Komplex is modulating the Quantized Scale Input of the SMR. The Gate Out of Sequencer B is triggering the Rotate Forward Function of the SMR. The Gate out of Sequencer C was mixed with feedback from the Filter Output using a 4ms SISM, to create the highly resonant plucking sounds. No additional effects or mastering was used, all audio was done in the modular, and recorded live.
Both 4ms SMR and KOMA Komplex Sequencer will be available in Spring 2015. Pre-orders for the Komplex Sequencer are currently open via support@koma-elektronik.com.
More information on both companies can be found here:

The S-183 hasn't been posted here on MATRIXSYNTH before. Not sure when it was released or announced but I'll give it the New and New Modules label for now. If you know, feel free to comment.
