"Six months old and pristine, this is one of a production run of a hundred, and at the beginning of the year I understand it was one of two in Australia. Sounds like a Voyager (of course), plays like a Voyager (of course), but the machined aluminium housing gives it a massive, invulnerable feel."
"Check out these impressions on iM1 from both artists and those who had a hand in the creation of the original M1 Workstation.
iM1 for iPad is a complete reproduction of the legendary M1 that sparked a new era in how musicians wrote and performed with a keyboard. iM1 is a faithful recreation of all of the original sounds plus every single expansion card within the M and T series. Optimized for iPad, this IS the legendary M1 for the modern music making world."
"Attack Drums is a synthesizer designed mainly for drum sounds, but the powerful sound engine can also be used for everything else - including vocals. Based on the Waldorf Attack VST PlugIn from 2001, it consists of a 24-part sound engine, now packed with a pattern sequencer and a versatile effects section.
One highlight of the effects section is the new Phrase Vocoder, a vocoder that uses written text instead of spoken words. Lyrics in - song out, adjust gender as you have always wanted!
Just like Waldorf Nave, Attack Drums is a seriously in-depth musical instrument - easy and fun to use, but a a sonic beast at its core!

Note this one is purely in the rumor mill from the comments in this post, but if true it would definitely be interesting. For those of you not familiar with Tom Oberheim's synth history, when Oberheim Electronics went under in 1985 and was acquired by Gibson, Tom Oberheim started Marion Systems. He released the Marion Systems MSR-2 (see this post), essentially the successor to the Oberheim Matrix-6. You'll note it was named the "Marion systems Modular Synthesizer", not because it was a patch cable modular of course, but because the plan was to be able to swap out internal module boards which would consist of complete synthesizers. Could the released engine or others planned make their way into a eurorack module? Time will tell. Until then, what we do know for sure is that he will be releasing the eurorack SEM and Multi-Mode Stereo Phaser modules.
"This unit is an Ultimate Percussion Model: UP5 Super Analogue Drum Synth. It's very clean inside and out, all controls function correctly, and it is a real cool piece of history for the digital drum collector. This will include the original power cord and a 1/4" 10' cable..."
"A continuation of extending the patch from the Doepfer A166 Dual logic module manual. We look at how to add a baseline and vary rhythms in the patch.Sound and Video by Raul Pena."
"A very cool noise generator that (a first I've seen) can also process external inputs through it's reset. There's a great manual from Erica Synths explaining the back of what's happening in the module. Watch through for the features, using it as an FM source (it's wicked!) as an oscillator itself (gets a bit Karplus in tone) and processing various external sounds too.
