It packs powerful plug-out capability, along with superb standalone operation, into a format flexible enough to integrate into your synth rig. Whether you’re looking to add to your Eurorack set-up, want a table-top synth for your AIRA system, or have to have a great synthesizer option that’s rack-mountable, the SYSTEM-1m can do it all and sound great while doing it. The flexible format along with its versatility of sound make Roland’s AIRA SYSTEM-1m a great choice whether it’s your next synth or your first."

HEXINVERTER Mutant Hot Glue - Overview/Demo
Published on Jul 29, 2015 hexinverterDOTnet
"The HEXINVERTER Mutant Hot Glue is an analog bus mixer with hi-fi compressor and voltage controlled distortion, for the eurorack modular synthesizer format.

The included high quality analog compressor offers series or parallel compression, and a sidechain input, making it well suited for drum processing. The voltage controlled distortion is based on the batteryACID: IDOW Edition design, but improved for better signal fidelity and performance. It can be used in its default position, normalized to the effects send, or like every other part of the module, broken out and used elsewhere in your modular system.
By default, the 4 channel mixer’s output conveniently feeds into the compressor’s input, giving access to easy New York style parallel compression by way of the compressor blend control. The dedicated output and mixer bypass switch for channel A allow you to easily use it as a sidechain source for the compressor. An effects send and return allow you to create complex effects routings within your modular system. With the number of excellent DSP and other effects modules on the market today, this makes it easy to combine modules to great effect, all within the eurorack modular domain."

Future Sound Systems Spectral Devastator
Published on Jul 28, 2015 Matthew Shaw
"Exploring the quieter side of the Future Sound Systems Spectral Devastator.
Spectral Devastator filters the Verbos Complex Oscillator master out, which is then processed by the Modcan Dual Delay, which is then added to the Music Thing Modular Spring reverb.
Sequencing is provided by the Intellijel Metropolis in Brownian mode, which receives transpose information from the Make Noise Pressure Points."

Pluto Flyby space ambient jam with Microbrute and Korg Volca Keys & Bass
Published on Jul 28, 2015 Helium Road
"Okay, I don't know if anyone's been wondering, but I've been away for a while busy with other stuff but I got my synth gear plugged back in finally. I've been keenly watching all the coverage of the New Horizons spacecraft and its flyby of Pluto the last few weeks, so it was on my mind when I say down to jam this out last night. Got to test out my new Polara reverb pedal, too.
I apologize if the sound and video aren't perfectly synced up; that's really the hardest thing about doing these things. If I re-do this piece I will try to make a real video.
In case you're wondering: Yes. This is what it looks like inside Helium Road's house all the time, colored lights, plasma sphere, and assorted mad scientist devices.
Equipment used:
Arturia Microbrute analog synth
Korg Volca Keys analog synth
Korg Volca Bass analog synth
EHX Clockworks timing unit
EHX Superego Synth Engine pedal
Arion Stereo Chorus pedal
TC Electronics Flashback stereo delay pedal
DigitechPolara stereo reverb pedal
Rolls 4-channel passive mixer
Korg Sound-on-Sound recorder"
