Roland MC-202 Sequencing (With Elements & DPO)
Published on Jun 2, 2016 11brassmonkey11
"I was kindly lent a Roland MC-202 for the week and I finally got some time to work out how this thing operates!
Here is me working out how to input a couple of basic riffs and sequencing some external euro rack gear (notably the Make Noise DPO and Mutable Instruments Elements).
It's a quirky little thing with that classic Roland sound. Although sequencing this is at times very frustrating, the 202 really excels at putting odd rhythmic ideas and what not (not demonstrated here)"

"a live improvisation using a home made axoloti synth and a controller keyboard. The patches consists of 8 short mono midi sequencers, each with it's own sound."
Always get a kick out of people playing synths in the forest. One of the harmonica sounding background synth lines that weaves in and out (6:47) reminds me of COIL's The Snow Ep. Listen below at 1:00. Love that sound.

This one spotted and sent in via Soviet Space Child. Video description from fredturd:
"Here it is the audio everyone has been requesting! Listen to the noodling (albeit lame) on the new 2016 Minimoog Model D Reissue at the Moogfest Moog Music Pop-up Factory.
Impromptu performance - I only had a few minutes to get the audio. Also, a friend helped with the video because I did not have a tripod for a steady closeup. Please note that the sound is highly compressed on YouTube and sounds much better at the source.
Audio: Zoom H4n (wav), re-encoded to mp3
Video: Nikon D750
Mixed with Avidemux 2.6.7
For more fun, turn on your oscilloscope and look at the waveforms."

Very quick and dirty Crowminius demo. This is an excellent minimoog PCB, designed by the Old Crow
Published on Feb 12, 2016
"PCB designed by the Old Crow. This excellent minimoog based synth is a very cool operator. Very faithful replication of the original model E. Lovely bass and nice leads. I built the PCB into my own case and designed panels. It also has a sequencer included. I was going to add a RAT distortion and space echo but basically ran out of internal space."
