via DSP Synthesizers

"The three demos in order are the 4HP R606, the 4HP R727 and the last is the 4HP 'The Drum' with the S04 chip (Prince anyone?).

The are all found at http://www.dspmodular.eu or as a kit at http://www.dspsynth.eu

The only bad thing with testing modules before shipping is that you cant leave them alone, to much fun :)

Chiptunes II - "Arranging in Four Channels" is Now Live

via Soundfly:

"Ready to turn your beginner chip loops into intricate chip masterpieces? Well, Part Two of our Chiptune Crash Course will help you do just that. This micro-course will expand on what you've already learned about making music with old video game hardware using Little Sound Dj (LSDJ), a tracking software for the original Nintendo Game Boy that we introduced in Part One.

In this section we're going to learn how to use all four channels to make a more complex piece of music using multiple instruments and loops. We'll explore some of the different instruments you can access in LSDJ, learn how to tweak the sounds in each channel, and build our first drumbeat using the pulse and noise channels. Ready to take your chip loops to the next level? Dive in to start learning."

test/preview by Body In The Thames Featuring the DSI OB-6

"this one's not really finished but I'm uploading it as an example of a 100% OB-6 track. Everything here is OB-6* - I'm very pleased with my kick, snare, hats & clicks patches :)

*All sounds generated by the OB-6 though I used a delay & a reverb in the mix"

E-Scape is the annual all day festival of live electronic and ambient music held at ‘The Cut Arts Centre‘ in Halesworth, Suffolk. It is usually held at the end of May, beginning of June, the week after the bank holiday weekend. The event is hosted by UK record label AD Music to promote traditional electronic music from around the globe. It usually features AD Music artists but is not exclusive to the label and always includes non AD Music artists.

It started as “the Bungay Bash” in 2009 and moved to Halesworth in 2015 as the newly named E-Scape. A unique selling point for the event, as of 2015, is that the ticket includes an audio ‘download’ of the event in high rate MP3 or Flac, or on USB stick, available 2 weeks after the event. This means that fans of the electronic music scene from around the world who are otherwise unable to attend can still hear the concert, albeit afterwards, and are also actively supporting their favourite acts and the electronic music scene by so doing."

Two Moogs

"By request of a YouTube commenter, video with a real audio track. Beginning with one oscillator on the Voyager, I add one oscillator at a time and then stack the Minimoog Model D on top. Six oscillators of ridiculously fat Moog goodness. Enjoy."
