Analog DnB Drumtrax

Published on Jul 13, 2016 HardtekStudios

"Preparing some drums for a future collaboration. The Tom Cat's output is routed into the Freqbox then out of it into the MF Drive. All of this is recorded into Logic with absolutely no post processing. The Freqbox's envelope follower is also controlling the MF-Drive's filter frequency."

Minilogue - Electribe - Aira - Trance - analogue session - Empty Life?

Published on Jul 13, 2016 marcus kautz

"This time we had fun making some commercial trance sound. Not everybodys taste, but hearing it loud, its a lot of fun. We enjoyed this session a lot. Basics from Electribe 2, the rest is a lot of improvisation. Samples from looperman.com - thanks for the inspiration. Gear list at the end of the vid. Thanks for watching and listening. We are happy about comments - and - of course about critics also! Its just a hobby, but a great one! ;-)"

My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult " A Daisy Chain for Satan"

"From the 1990 album 'Confessions of a Knife'"

One from my "childhood". Apologies to Marcus if this video is a distraction to his. It was one of those "why does this sound familiar" moments. The female vocal sample, the bassline and general progression. It was on the tip of my tongue, so I went looking, found it, and had to include it. Enjoy. Or not. The classic horror movie masks in Marcus' video do help tie it altogether. Also, this appears to be post #36 for the day - 3 x 6 for 666! Glad another post came in up top, otherwise I'd be spooked going to bed tonight!

Logan Vocalist Analog Choir Synthesizer (1979)

Published on Jul 13, 2016 RetroSound

"(c) 2016 vintage synthesizer demo by RetroSound

Logan Vocalist analog choir synthesizer from the year 1979

Rare like stardust and maybe one of the most interesting human voice synths ever. Made in Italia.

The sound is a bit like the Roland VP-330 human voice section but you have a lot more possiblities with the 3 vowel filters, the envelopes and mixing the different sounds.

The demo video shows the 3 different human voice sound sections (Tenore, Soprano and Solo)

6 voice polyphonic, Vibrato speed and depth and a lot more"
