"As you probably already know, the Oberheim SEM sound is strong and powerful used on so many historic recordings. This Telemark delivers that classic sound with modern stability and way more modulation routing tan the original SEM. Amazing for atmospheres, pads, the weirdest efx but also surpasses the competition at basses and leads. This Telemark will make a great addition to any stage or studio."

When all else fails...

"A little musical exploration in the studio on a gloomy Sunday afternoon, with the Eurorack modular system keeping me happily distracted :-)
Tech notes if you are curious - Intellijel Metropolis is the engine driving the melodies, with the Verbos Complex Oscillator and Endorophins.es Furthrrr Generator Oscillator creating the melodies. These are filtered through a Cwejman DMF-2 Filter, a Doepfer A-124 Wasp Filter, and Schippmann VCF-02. The Furthrrr Generator runs through the 2hp Freez to offer up these tricky little melodic runs. The percussion comes from the TipTop Audio ONE sampler. A Rebel Technology Χρόνος modulates the Verbos timbre. The random radio samples appear live from the Befaker ARRadio, and everything is mixed into the Intellijel Linix and Mutamix. The reverb is in the DAW itself, Ableton Live, a combination of AudioDamage EOS and Soundtoys Echoboy."
upbeat modular jam session (mutable instrument rings, braids + friends)

"If you like my stuff please support me on http://music.ollilab.com/ and https://www.patreon.com/theBURG
I recently got the Mutable instrument rings for my modular and I wanted to give it an upbeat techno-style run.. or something :D This little module has some really nice textures and timbres which are very suitable for my style of music ! In the modular you also hear the MI braids, doing a stab style sequence... both are controlled by the arturia beatstep pro in a semi random fashion. (40% random, 50% probability)
I recorded maybe 4-5 takes altogether, this being the best one.. still the vocal sample might be a little bit loud when playing all by itself in the intro section.. but hey, we need to hear what she says right? :)
The KORG volca does the low end bass, KORG monologue and TB-3 works together to create the top line bass + the dreadbox a bit later in the tune. Elektron does some extra percussions + some weird ack style sounds + the really angry metal style stabs later on.
Gear used:
Current Intellijel 7U rack: https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/445007
Sounds, Braids 3x SAW + rings (through the morphagene for some reversy / glitch processing). Elektron Analog Four, KORG volca bass x2, keys and fm, dreaedbox erebus, TB-3, KORG monologue and the TR-8.
FX, kaoss pad (samples etc), ms-70 CDR on keys and the second bass, earthquaker devices space spiral, transmisser and keeley engineering caverns on the modular.
I hope you like it !
BooOooM !"
Elektron Digitakt & KORG monologue : Trigger a preset with Program change
Published on Jul 16, 2017 Masaki Takada
"Elektron Digitakt 's MIDI sequencer can parameter lock the value of Program Change, so it' s fun to switch preset synth presets at high speed. Combined with monologue it will be like this!
(Digitakt's audio tracks are not played at all)
try it! :)"
