"Jamming with only one volca.
Setup:
External instruments track in Ableton Live with Eventide Blackhole, Replika Delay and Ableton Looper as insert effect. The effects and the Looper are controlled by the Akai lpd 8. Recorded directly on a Tascam DR07 MK2.

"Composed and recorded in the Summer of 2018 on the modular NAS System (Noisy Artificial Synthesis) with significant use of the Cimmerian Caves V2 and a dash of Valhalla Vintage Verb.

Some additional info via Immortal Beings:

"The album was done entirely on my own DIY modular synth (dubbed the NAS System) with heavy use of the Cimmerian Caves V2. Recorded and mixed in Reaper with a dash of Valhalla Vintage Verb. Some sequencing done the Beatstep Pro, some done on my Keystep.

I made the modular synthesizer entirely from schematics sourced from the web (Moog, Oberheim, Serge and of course MFOS) and soldered them onto strip-boards. Purposely designed with 'old school' modular synths in mind."

"My first session with this QUANTUM and its huge potential just tweaking many parameters directly by their dedicated knobs.
There is no FM machine in WALDORF QUANTUM, unfortunately.
The analog modelled oscillators cannot work as modulation sources so had to engage high pitched LFOs for that purpose
in order to a scent of FM. WALDORF should absolutely implement proper FM modulation to increase the synth's potential."

This is, by request, the FM SCENT patch laying without the internal FX unit. The performance is a bit different though: no drone in the end but some deep percussive arpeggio."
