"At SynthPlex 2019, Kazike of large-format modular maker Club Of The Knobs introduced a new company, WaveFront Audio, and their first product, the Sixteen Channel Spectral Vocoder.

The vocoder builds on the classic Bode analog vocoder design, considered by many to be one of the best-sounding vocoders ever created.

Kazike also gave us a quick look at the monster Moog Unit modular synth he had on display at SynthPlex."

A shadow that glows harder than the sun | Modular in the cave 11 ambient jam on a boat outdoor euro

Published on Apr 8, 2019 Modular in the cave

Modular on a boat.

"A little jam on the boat leaving Ustica. Many things have been said about this island. The greeks called it Osteodes, cause a lot of mercenaries bones, starved to death, are said to be found here. Some others, like storyograph L.G. Pocock and writer Marco Carlo Rognoni, believe this to be Eea, the island of circes ( but i don´t agree, just like with the theory of Samuel Butler about the odissey taking place in the aegadian islands). The only certain thing is that this island and his volcanoes are more ancient and wise than any man who put their foot on it. Yes, even wiser than Gramsci."

CHVRCHES | Wonderland | Moog Sound Lab

Published on Apr 8, 2019 Moog Music Inc

"Glasgow synth-pop outfit CHVRCHES give a rare live performance of 'Wonderland' in the Moog Sound Lab. 'This is one of the few songs from the new album that we haven’t played live in any context and we wanted to do something special for the MSL performance...', says Chvrches front woman Lauren Mayberry. 'I think this will probably be the only place a live version of Wonderland will exist…'

Chvrches synthesize their re-imaging of 'Wonderland' using a Moog One, Subsequent 37, and DFAM – composing the spontaneous analog arrangement on the spot in the Moog Sound Lab."

The MFB-301 Pro drum computer is a modern version of our classic MFB-301. It offers eight analog drum- and percussion-instruments which are based upon the original circuits being used in the MFB-301 and the clap-module MFB-401. However, the circuits have been further refined for the Pro-version.

The MFB-301 Pro offers a sequencer with up to 16 steps, capable of storing 108 patterns and 36 songs. By chaining two patterns it allows creating beats with 32 steps. A global shuffle mode with five graduations will make your beats swing.

Programming can be carried out in real time or step by step.

All instruments can be adjusted in three sound parameters and in level. The sound parameters pitch, note length and attack can individually be set per step. In addition, the values may also be controlled by MIDI CC commands and recorded into the sequence in real time.

All instrument levels can be adjusted separately and being programmed per track.
The MFB-301 Pro can be synchronized to a MIDI clock or an analog clock signal. Available are stereo outputs as well an an adjustable headphones output.

Power supply comes from the included USB-power adapter. The unit can be updated via its USB port, but only Windows PC's.

MFB-301 Pro is the ideal expansion for MFB Tanzmaus. Combined, all instruments of the MFB Tanzbär 1 are available. Also, the MFB-301 Pro can be controlled and even be programmed from MFB Tanzmaus via MIDI.
