The demo video in the listing previously posted here.

"This 61-Key Origin Keyboard is the Arturia™version of Origin Synthesizer for the keyboard player. It keeps the outstanding modular system of Origin Desktop, saves your valuable CPU (if you are using Arturia Products) putting it into a panel that closes on a high-quality keyboard controller. The intuitive interface is kept in place, along with all of the modules from the most famous synthesizers (ARP 2600, CS-80, Jupiter-8, Oberheim SEM, Prophet 5/VS, plus two of Bob Moog™s designs) and organs (Tonewheel, Rotary). The integration of the ribbon control is a blast, the keyboard aftertouch possibilities open a world of expressivity, while the playing modes will rise to the expectations of any demanding performer.

Modal CRAFTsynth 2 0 Quick Overview of the LFOs

Published on Jun 17, 2019 Modal Electronics

"A Quick overview of the LFO's on CRAFTsynnth 2.0.

We quickly show how to assign the LFOs with a simple hold and twist assignment and adjust the LFO's rate.

You will notice on both LFOs, once we pass halfway, or continue the below 0, the LFOs snap to divisions of either the clock or, on LFO-2, the frequency of the note you are playing.

LFO-2 snapping to divisions of the note you are playing can be used to great affect with growling patches to introduce harmonically related overtones that transform the sound.

You can find this technique used throughout the onboard presets. See "Ochre Lead" or "Proxima Pad" for some interesting examples.

SKULPT synthesiser users can check out many presets using the same technique too, for example the "Bit Growl" preset."

The Very First Synth Cartoon?

This one is in via Brian Kehew who had the following to say:

"I believe this may be the very first 'synthesizer cartoon' from an in-house RCA publication in 1956 (The RCA MkI synthesizer was completed then.)"

If you know of anything earlier, let us know!

P.S. I first thought that was one messed up Santa going after the floating kid with a sword, but it appears he is holding, and offering, a bow and violin. :) Hence the caption of the kid yelling "I wanted a synthesizer!". He must be jumping in anger with his fists clenched. That or he managed to levitate by vibrating at some harmonic frequency only possible with a synthesizer? What's with the spikes in his shadow?

P.P.S. I'm guessing the "COOK" under the tree is the artist's name, that or they missed the IE. Santa wants his cookies.
