The aliens are coming
Published on Aug 27, 2019 once upon a synth
"This started off as a sound experiment when I ran the Korg MS-20 through a spring reverb and ring modulator. With this setup I quickly realized I now had the power to contact aliens, so I wrote this song. The spring reverb is the Knas Ekdahl Moisturizer. The ring mod is the moogerfooger one. I'm also playing the Arturia Solina V plugin and there's some drums coming from Ableton Live.

5 MINUTES WITH - EMS VCS3 Synthesizer
Published on Aug 27, 2019 sonicstate
"Episode two in our 5-MINUTES-WITH series, and this time its the EMS/Putney VCS-3. An unusual synthesizer from the late 1960's with a truly scientific vibe to it. Peter Zinovieff started building these instruments to fund his burgeoning obsession with electronic music. It went on to become a quirky classic.
Yes the VCS-3 is a rare beast, rumour has it that there is a waiting list for modern builds of this directly from EMS, but the timescale appears to be rather variable."

Patching Panda Vibrazum // Triple Resonant Multimode Filter in Eurorack
Published on Aug 27, 2019 DivKidVideo
"Here we have the very lovely triple filter 'Vibrazum' from Patching Panda (it's the "v2"). It's a single shared input into a network of mutlimode filters with independent and global control, separate and mixed outputs and CV over all the parameters. From simple characterful low pass to weird formant triple peak vocal sounds there's a tonne of range in here. Although it's not labelled as a stereo device plenty of the patch examples here are stereo, using Vibrazum to create a stereo image for FX or general synth tones. So grab some decent headphones or monitors to hear the details in the sounds. Any questions just ask, thanks for Patching Panda for sponsoring this video and cheers for watching!

he rest are other PICO modules like Pico VCO2, Pico VCF1, Pico BBD, Pico Quant, Pico DSP, Pico Multi, Pico RND etc ..

STAR'S END: Jason Sloan live-to-air (excerpt) 25 August 2019
Published on Aug 26, 2019 Chuck van Zyl
"Jason Sloan's secret pleasure may be of the Berlin-School variety. His clean lined minimalism delivers a potent atmosphere of mechanized machine mystery and dreaming, breathing idyll - filling the mind in four dimensions. With a powerful intellectual undercurrent coursing beneath his realizations, his music urgently pushes into darkness. Slow melodies offer vague narrative, but only its receiver knows whatever drama this work may tell. As a pulsing echoing energy occupies the center of our attention, breathing chords extend and recede, and deepen our mental journey. While a steadily turning sequencer pulse drives a linear flow, and Sloan's power of imagination takes us on unexpected excursions. From primitive utterances lost in the night, and passages of sound horde stillness, to cycling, circling tone patterns moving steadily outward - he implies formal and spatial boundlessness... resulting in an endless, formless thought zone.
