"The Shnth connects via USB to a host computer, a patch is loaded and then it functions as a (very) tactile, standalone synth.

It can be programmed with either the graphic programming application "fish" or with the programming language 'schlisp'.

I will upload a patch to the Shnth to get you going and include a memory stick with manual & example patches & info gleaned from the Mass Shnth Blog group on Facebook (Well worth joining, it's an invaluable resource.)

There is a series of 3 tutorial videos that will get you started.

From Peter's synthmall website:

'The SHNTH, a computer music device by SHBOBO, features the ARM Cortex 32 bit processor.

It connects via USB to host computer (windows, linux, or macintosh) which may read its squish data, or program the standalone synthesizer in the computer music language, SHLISP.

A switch enables internal batteries; electronic sounds out a stereo-mini jack. It is handtop: four bars on top feel your fingers and two woven antennae below sense palm flesh, complemented by a battery of buttons.
There are red lights.'"

"Waldorf Quantum in mint condition, just over 20 hours of home studio use. Everything is absolutely perfect and it sounds incredible. This is a vastly deep and powerful synth that’s surprising easy to use due to the amazing touch screen and many knobs and buttons. Wavetables, classic synth waveforms, granular sampling and resonator algorithms plus eight analog filters and Waldorf’s powerful digital filters all in a sleek, high-end keyboard."

"TX816... this is essentially 8 DX7s in a rack... AMAZING possibilities... endless sonic creation. This is THE FM beast to have if you don't want to spend the coin for a DX1 or DX5.

It is listed as EXCELLENT... not for cosmetics as it has scratches, scuffs, etc.. but excellent because I just spent $400 having this synth Recapped and had 8 new batteries installed AS WELL as installing new battery slip in clip holders on each module.. so if you ever need to replace batteries.. no soldering required.. just slide in a new CR2032!"

"This is an extremely rare opportunity to get your hands on what can only be described as a timewarp example of Roland's JD-800. It is in absolutely stunning condition for it's age, and still has the original box and packaging."

This has nothing to do with synths, but there you have it. Vintage Moog Modular at PS Audio.

What makes a speaker good for a tube amplifier and, as a secondary question, what are the 4Ω and 8Ω settings on the back of tube amplifiers for? Have a question you want to ask Paul?

I have finished my memoir! You can go read it now: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/173... It's called 99% True and it is chock full of adventures, debauchery, struggles, heartwarming stories, triumphs and failures, great belly laughs, and a peek inside the high-end audio industry you've never known before.

I plan a few surprises for early adopters, so go to https://www.paulmcgowan.com and add your name to the list of interested readers. There's an entire gallery of never before seen photos too."
