TouellSkouarn - Ar Merc’het Brao
Published on Dec 2, 2019 Alex4
"Ar Merc'het Brao is a dual or stereo filter with a slope of -12 dB per octave. Distortion circuits add some musical aggression to audio signals.
Ar Merc’het Brao is comprised of two filters and two overdrive sections. As usual with Touellskouarn, the module has a Breton name: Ar Merc’het Brao means "The pretty girls". Ar Merc’het Brao can be used to process a stereo signal or two mono signals. The module is Eurorack as well as guitar friendly.
The filters are resonant with a slope of -12dB per octave. A switch makes it possible to choose between low-pass and high-pass. The filter cutoffs are voltage-controlled thanks to dedicated CV inputs. Additionally, the Ar Merc’het Brao features global controls for cutoff and resonance.
Both overdrive sections offer the classic and well known TouellSkouarn distortion sound."

Roland Keyboard Rigs with Steven Weston (UNKLE)
Published on Dec 2, 2019 RolandChannel
"As keys man for UNKLE, Steven Weston is tasked with recreating the classic cuts from 1998’s Psyence Fiction – and pushing the band’s live sound in bold new directions. In this video interview, he reveals how he does it all with the Roland SYSTEM-8.
The Roland SYSTEM-8 is a direct result of over four decades of synthesizer development, including some of the most iconic instruments ever made. It absolutely nails the sound and behavior of our most sought-after classics, like the included JUPITER-8, JUNO-106 and JX-3P synthesizers—and yet it does so much more."

Stevie Wonder Boogie On Reggae Woman (ContinuuMini Cover)
Published on Nov 18, 2019 MiniMan
"My name is Josh Madoff (Instagram: @miniman.josh) and I'm a professional film composer and producer. I saw a lot of cool continuumini stuff from you guys so I thought you might appreciate my personal tribute to the instrument. I have never had such an immediate and strong connection with a digital instrument before. It felt like the continuumini was designed specifically for me. While I've seen a lot of cool sound design and ambient stuff on the mini, I've learned that it can also be played with musical virtuosity and soul. To show what its capable of, I made a New Orleans style cover of Stevie Wonder's "Boogie On Reggae Woman" using only the continuumini (Lippold and Ed were really into it!)."

"I have never seen the knobs without the synth...
It's like in a science fiction, where all the people vanished, but still
the cloths are laying in the chairs...."
Funny and true! Cool that they laid out the knobs like that. Missing rocker switches though... Made me think of this video.
