"Another pack of Prophet 12 patches programmed by BoB SwanS.

When Sequential announced at the start of the year that they had finally decided to retire the Prophet 12 Module I was inspired by all the online chatter and tributes and jumped into making another bank of patches.

As usual quite a few of them use per note modulation and Mod wheel for movement and most of them are not your usual bread and butter patches, But you probably know that already.

99 patches, Including splits, stacks and single patches.
This time I decided I wanted to go a bit further with the Linear FM and Waveshape\Morph side of things and made lots of evolving pads and keys for you to drift off with, I included a couple of Arp's and lead synths just to even things out a bit.

"My friend James Carr built a cabinet for Eurorack modules to fit beneath my Korg ARP 2600 FS. It has two rows of 126 HP. The size is the same as three rows of 84 HP, like the Doepfer 9U cabinet.
I'm demoing a technique for generating a sequence by mixing the output of two LFOs. The output is quantized for easy tuning. The trigger input to the quantizer controls when the quantizer output voltage is updated.

Synth Tips With Alex Bornstein: Prophet 10 Cinematic Sound Design

"Welcome back to “Sequential Synth Tips,” where some of our favorite artists share their tips, tricks, and techniques on a Sequential synth. In this episode, we feature composer Alexander Bornstein creating cinematic patches on the Prophet-10.

Alexander Bornstein is an award-winning composer currently based in Los Angeles. His music has been heard on television, independent films, feature films, web series, documentaries in the festival circuit, and concert halls around the U.S. Alexander has also been at the forefront of new multimedia platforms, composing music for one of the first VR television series.

Recent works include the Nickelodeon series ‘ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK: CURSE OF THE SHADOWS’, ’TRANSFORMERS: WAR FOR CYBERTRON TRILOGY’ on Netflix, and was co-composer on several episodes of ‘SUPERNATURAL’ with Christopher Lennertz. SCHEMATIC, Alexander's debut album, launched in the Summer of 2017 and is available on all music platforms. The final chapter of TRANSFORMERS: WAR FOR CYBERTRON TRILOGY’ premieres later this year on Netflix.

His work has brought him through major music studios including Abbey Road Studios, Remote Control Productions and Sonic Fuel Studios. In addition to his own music, he has worked with composers such as Danny Elfman, Brandon Roberts, Marco Beltrami, Mark Isham, and Tony Morales on everything from sound design to additional music on various projects.
