This mic is very useful because of its gain settings. Switch between high and low gain, then fine tune with the gain knob (right on the mic!) The mic is powered by a coin cell battery that lets you take the mic anywhere. Check out all the colors available and get yours today!"

Speak and Glitch GND-1 circuit bent speech chip synthesizer

video upload by GND-1

"Here's a short promo for our new Speak& Glitch GND-1, a Circuit Bent Speech Chip Synthesizer unlike any other. Based on an accurate emulation of the speech chip inside the popular Speak and Spell game, the GND-1 pushes into previously impossible circuit bending realms letting you create loops, rhythms and synth sounds in totally new ways.

In addition to the stereo audio output from the synth chip, the MIDI-out rhythm generator on the GND-1 was driving a software 808 drum machine. But it can drive any midi compatible device, whether it's software, hardware, or even mechanical, both via USB midi and a dedicated 5-pin DIN connector.

See richardvanhoesel.com/gnd1 for more info.

p.s. the 'flickering' OLED display on the GND-1 in the video is just a video artifact."

Iridium with Analog Distortion sounds nice

video upload by Jameson Nathan Jones

"The Waldorf Iridium is a personal favorite. Sometimes it sounds very digital (because it's very digital). Sometimes I like to obliterate its digitality through the Elektron Analog Heat.... Full video of how it was done here:"

Analog Heat: Elektron's most MISUNDERSTOOD box

"The Elektron Analog Heat has been called an overpriced distortion box, but I really think it's so much more than that. There are a ton of tools for sound design tucked away under the hood, and today we're going to dive in and see what we can do with them.

This track is FREE on Bandcamp, though a Bandcamp follow would be swell of you :) https://jamesonnathanjones.bandcamp.c...

0:00 - Heat has more to offer
1:48 - Using the Heat as a sound design tool

The Cheat Boxes - Roland J-6, Boss Dm-2w, Korg NTS-1, norns shield - Ambient demo by gattobus

video upload by gattobus

"Creating new tunes with the new Aira Compact J-6 almost feels like cheating.
It contains a lot of arpeggio styles and all the chord progressions and harmonies for past, present and future music: it's up to you how to put them together and create new cool songs.
Korg NTS-1 and norns shield are the perfect couple to create cool digital soundscapes and FX: I love them.
Boss Dm-2w is one if the best analog delay stompbox I've ever had: it sounds huge and creamy and it adds that warm analog texture to anything you put through it.
This song was born while I was just playing around with these little boxes, I hope you like it!"

"This Oberheim Two Voice Pro is in excellent working order. Everything functions perfectly. It's a really amazing instrument, and the fact that you can expand on it and patch any CV in to the patch points is a huge bonus."

"Functionally, this JP6 is 100%. Everything works, sounds great, plays great. Amazing rich pads and unison pulse wave sounds that just SLAY.

Cosmetically, there are three small blemishes in the silk screening (visible in the third photo):

1) in the horizontal lines above the word “MODE” in the VCF section,
2) a tiny slice through the line above the “I” in “MIXER”
3) through the vertical and horizontal lines above the words “PATCH PRESET”. There is also a slightly worn area to the right of “key follow” in the ENV2 section. This photo shows it at its worst. From most angles in most light it is almost invisible.

The shaft of the UNISON DETUNE knob is bent (visible in photos 4 and 9). It works perfectly so I’ve never had it repaired. There is also a slight indentation on the back right corner. All of these blemishes have been there since I bought it."
