A first sound experiment with this original instrument, it was apparently used for early music education in music schools in the 1960s in Germany.
The front blackboard (white) has a pentagram and is magnetic to be able to fix the magnetized notes.
The soundbars are from Sonor, the keyboard is from Schimmel.

Mingle Mangler Synthesizer

video upload by Sharpe Sound Design

"Mingle Mangler is an upcoming synthesizer designed specifically for Decent Sampler. My synth was inspired by composers like Louis and Bebe Barron, Vangelis, and Hans Zimmer from films with deep atmospherics such as Forbidden Planet, Blade Runner, and Dune. It essentially makes finding unconventional sounds easy and fun by avoiding extensive menus and offering upfront controls that are MIDI controllable.

This virtual instrument is exclusive to Decent Sampler.

Features:

• 82 controls (MIDI Learn)
• 13 oscillators
• Fine tuning
• Drift
• 9 LFOs
• Velocity tracking
• Toggle switching (MIDI Learn)
• Glide
• High pass filter
• Low pass filter
• Resonance
• Phaser
• Delay
• Convolution reverb
• Chorus
• ADSR (per oscillator)
• Waveshaper
• Wavefolder"

Techno Beat Production: Honeysmack How I Make Improvised Acid Techno

video upload by Honeysmack

"This video was made for beat production students at The State University of New York (SUNY Broome County) back in October 2021 during the pandemic. It was recorded in my old studio before it was redesigned in early 2022. Here I discuss my overall approach and philosophy to making and performing live improvised techno. Performing with my "studio instrument" is at the core of what I do as live techno improvisor. There are excerpts from live performances throughout the video, with detailed explanations. This channel is supported by my Patreons, become a member here: https://www.patreon.com/honeysmack and yes I also offer one-on-one tuition/lesson/coaching on making and performing live techno.
