First 10:
1. Fireflies | Modular Eurorack Beat | Erica Synths LXR, Basimilus Iteritas Alter #Jamuary2023 01
First Video this Year! I started this Patch trying to use my new Erica Synths LXR Eurorack Module for a melodic voice which I think turned out pretty nice.
Bloom and Pamelas New Workout are responsible for the sequencing.
Main Melody 1: LXR receiving v/oct from Bloom, sent through Mimeophon.
Main Melody 2: 2hp Pluck sequenced by Bloom, mixed with Noise and filtered by Forbidden Planet through Disting Delay.
Bass is Plaits, distorted and filtered by Peradam and XAOC Zagrzeb.
Kick: Basimilus Iteritas Alter
Drums: Erica Synths LXR
Drums: Queen of Pentacles & some additional Hi-hats made with white and pink noise
Main Melody: Acid Rain Chainsaw
Bass: Basimilus Iteritas Alter
Background Texture is Plaits with the model Input modulated.
3. SHORES | UK GARAGE on MODULAR || #jamuary2023 03
I've been wanting to make some kind of UK garage, burial inspired piece on the modular. I think it turned out pretty neat!
4. EMBERS | Drum and Bass on MODULAR || #jamuary2023 04
Here we go again, 4th day of #jamuary2023! I try to keep it as musically diverse as possible, so I tried to make some Drum and Bass this time. I think it's quite alright for the first try!
It's been a long time since I wanted to use the Forbidden Planet as an Oscillator and I never found the place in a patch since it is always almost on regular filter duties. But I managed this time and it sounds very cool!
6. Erica Synths LXR Eurorack Live Techno Jam | #jamuary2023 07
#jamuary2023 lets go! Part 6! I filmed this video when I just got the Erica Synths LXR, wanting to showcase some of its sounds! I think it sounds absolutely massive!
7. Leaving | Eurorack Drum and Bass || #jamuary2023 07
More Drum and Bass! I'm really happy with the drums in this. I stumbled across the melody by accident just fiddling with Bloom.
"This is a quick demo video of some of the sounds of the Korg Delta. I'm using an external LFO on the filter. Effects used were UAD reverbs and Brainworx bx_delay 2500 for delay. This Delta has never been serviced so many of the components could need replacing and this can affect the sound.
The Delta was my first analog synth and where I learned a lot of my synthesizer basics such as how to use envelopes, trigger conversion, CV modulation, and additive synthesis. It's what's known as a paraphonic synthesizer which means it can play all notes simultaneously but they share 1 filter and amplifier. The Delta has an excellent filter that has a lot of character and I've never heard another bandpass filter that sounds like it.
If you want to get an idea of how it feels to use a Delta you can download Full Bucket's Delta VST for free. It doesn't quite have the grittiness of a real Delta but is still usable for a lot of things.
"Some noodling on the Moog Source. I've owned several vintage monosynths over the years and the Source's sound always stood out to me. It's a relatively limited synth but what it can do it does very well. It's maybe worth mentioning some of the sounds in this video aren't possible on a fully functional Source. This is because my Source has a problem with the glide that allows the pitch to drop very low. Some reverb from UAD's Lexicon 224 and delay from Waves' H-delay was added."
"This is a quick demo of some of the sounds of the Korg Mono/Poly. There are some rather extreme sounds in this video made possible by a trick to get the LFO to speed up considerably. If you set LFO 1's waveform between 2 waves very carefully you can get a sped up LFO that can be useful for harsh and metallic sounds. I don't know if this works on the Behringer version. Effects used were UAD reverbs and Brainworx bx_delay 2500.
If you want to get an idea of what it's like to use a Mono/Poly you can get Full Bucket's Mono/Fury for free. Its pretty good but won't be able to do some of the sounds in this video.

"Another rap style beat using an Akai MPC-X and analog synths. The Yamaha CS-15 is doing the main sequence, bass is the Moog Source, and the Korg Mono/Poly does a couple sounds at some point."

"Still messing around with the beat from the other day. Synths used are Yamaha CS-15, Nord Wave, Behringer 2600, Behringer Pro-1, Moog Source, and Studio Electronics Boomstar."

"Nambu by iceGear inc is a fatastic Synthesizer app! It is deep, packs a tonne of features, offers a lot of modulation plus it has a DIY twist to it. Watch and find out why this is y Nambu one synth app of 2022.
Nambu Synthesizer is available for both iPad and iPhone. It supports AUv3 and can be loaded into any AUv3 enabled host like DAWs (Garageband, Cubasis etc) and Audio Mixer apps (AUM, apeMAtrix etc)."
